Stay Away From Powder Coating Plus - PCP Stay away, I had my chassis done there gave me a dog and pony show telling me that they would sandblast the car then chemically dip the chassis and it would not come off with beating it with a hammer, then they told me no problem doing a it under $2000, two days after i drop the car off they call me up saying it was going to be $3400, so i said I was taking to Brad at Ram-proline (Great Work) so they called me back saying that they can do this for $2800, I start to assemble the car and one of the arms starts to flake, I look and it is a raw brown look, i thought that is odd everthing is sandblasted, I take the arm back and ask them was the car sandblasted, and they told me that they would not do a chassis without sandblasting it. I show them the arm and take a screw driver and the paint peels right off. They pull my paperwork and told me that the chassis was not blasted but it should be fine and that for since the car came in being Raw metal. Everytime i touch the car with a jack or a rock hits it it flakes off. I would stay away, From them It is now called Powder Coating Plus

I get the new long-block next week and can hide the parts from the wife, but i think i will try to sell it towards the end of the season, i know it will be the wrong time to sell, but then I can finish off the season and slowly build the new motor. after receiving the long-block i will start a build thread, it might be a slow build but i think it will be cool, the motor is a LY6 with the L92 heads, basically a 6.0 Iron block with the LS7 heads.

I can drop this off in Henderson in 15 minutes, just say go.

Your the reason i am building a new motor, all i wanted was 1 more hp than you, and now you are take it to CMB, I think I might give up on this race. before RC trans has the last laugh.

Well I am building a ly6 and I want to sell my motor after the season, What should I sell it for, I want to keep the computer but will make a copy of the Maps and software, would come with Headers, steering pump, alternator, and KEP - 9'' Clutch, Flywheel, pressure plate and adapter plate, can be converted to a Carb, GM sell the intake for about $200 new. I have purchased a ly6 and will be selling my Lt-1 what do you think I should list it for starting from the bottom- Aluminum Head 383 Canton 6qt pan, Melling oil pump with chromoly shaft and copper seal, Canton Windage tray, ARP main studs. Eagle cast crank, Eagle rods 6'', Keith Black pistons, Comp cams dual billet roller chain, Lunati cam with, comp cam chromoly push rods, Harland Sharp 1.6 roller rockers, 3/8 ARP rocker studs,aluminum heads with ARP Head Bolts. Lunati dual springs 150lbs seat pressure. Polished aluminum valve covers, BBK 58mm intake, intake has been bored to 58mm, 36lbs accel injectors, fuel rails are welded for AN fittings, aeromotive fuel regulator, Mezier electric water pump, steam ports are all wire braided with an fittings, Chrome Power Master alternator, Krc power steering pump and pulleys. also comes with aluminum intake elbow, and mapping for a Electromotive efi system. will also be re-ringed and new bearings, all OEM GM gaskets. My felpro's leaked. Thanks was thinking $2300 as seen in the pics $2000 with no intake $4300 with computer ready to run.

Holy Crap what a drive, how many time of year do you guys go? We make the drive to Idaho witch is about 10 hours from Vegas.

Looks like Thanksgiving is just around the corner, Who is going? What day is everyone getting out there? and what damage was done on Halloween that still needs to get done before the big day? I broke a reverse gear in my mendi and still have to put the motor and trans back in, also wiped out all the FK heims on the spindles going to try Rod End Supply, also had a leak in the Tatum Steering box, hope I see it back early next week from tatum. We are leaving Tuesday so it will be tight but should have plenty of time.

I have know TJ since high school, he is one of the most stand-up guys out there.

TJ did are group for Halloween, what a difference, it will help if you weigh the corner weights at his shop or let him know if you want to weigh the car at dumont.

I have already bent a set of King kongs, They now have 2'' bolt on Jimco spindle snouts. the new stu fronts really show you what your car is made of.

yep it gets worked, the new big tires are causing all sorts of issues, first it broke the Combo spindles now it is beating out the heims, Rod-end-supply is saying if i switch to there heims it will stop the issue, well we will see at Thanksgiving.

by accident I posted Halloween 2010 twice, so replaced it with the 2009 vid.

yep that was me, broke the reverse 1st day, if you get stuck just get help. Called Jon @ RC trans, then drained the oil and did not try reverse again.
