  16. That is a pretty common area for a stroker, Jon at RC Trans, welds mag all the time, I can have Brad From Canyon Concrete Pick up the case and drop it off to save you the 45 minutes? Or Phil Hayes on Bender street can weld it up in his sleep or with the 6 CNC machines one being almost two storys could even make one, If you go to Phil's Tell Him Jason Alper sent you I worked for phil for 5 years, in the stock car days at the bull-ring he was know as the Mad-Hater, his shop in vegas was the old national performance building on fremont street.   18. I agree it is worth the drive, not so much the money as it is to set my expectations, so I am not supprised.
  19. If Adam tells you something BRING A RECORDER! Stay away Far AWAY If was a fast $3000 down the tubes will have to have it painted again.

Stay Away From Powder Coating Plus - PCP Stay away, I had my chassis done there gave me a dog and pony show telling me that they would sandblast the car then chemically dip the chassis and it would not come off with beating it with a hammer, then they told me no problem doing a it under $2000, two days after i drop the car off they call me up saying it was going to be $3400, so i said I was taking to Brad at Ram-proline (Great Work) so they called me back saying that they can do this for $2800, I start to assemble the car and one of the arms starts to flake, I look and it is a raw brown look, i thought that is odd everthing is sandblasted, I take the arm back and ask them was the car sandblasted, and they told me that they would not do a chassis without sandblasting it. I show them the arm and take a screw driver and the paint peels right off. They pull my paperwork and told me that the chassis was not blasted but it should be fine and that for since the car came in being Raw metal. Everytime i touch the car with a jack or a rock hits it it flakes off. I would stay away, From them It is now called Powder Coating Plus

I get the new long-block next week and can hide the parts from the wife, but i think i will try to sell it towards the end of the season, i know it will be the wrong time to sell, but then I can finish off the season and slowly build the new motor. after receiving the long-block i will start a build thread, it might be a slow build but i think it will be cool, the motor is a LY6 with the L92 heads, basically a 6.0 Iron block with the LS7 heads.

  23. Your the reason i am building a new motor, all i wanted was 1 more hp than you, and now you are take it to CMB, I think I might give up on this race. before RC trans has the last laugh.
