I'll drive another hour and and a half past Nellis to ride Aramagosa anyday. Nellis has become a dump....not 100% atv'ers, but share the blame.

Man, Godspeed to those families who lost loved ones. I haven't been to Dumont yet this season, but I'm thinking of selling my 2006 Yamaha. In the past week, I've read of so many people getting hurt in the ever-changing dunes. We're not teenagers anymore....if I get hurt out there.....no $$$ comes into our household. The last thing I want to see cresting a dune is a rail full bore at me.

It's not "religious people" complaining. The group(s) are named in some earlier threads...they don't want the native areas of the dunes humanized.

No. What are the green fees? Nevermind, I found them. $40 on weekdays and $30 after 11AM.

We pay $30 @ Primm (employee rate) all year round. Most of the time I play Paiute ($30). 54 holes out there and the course is always in pristine shape. They never overseed. Also, they're sitting on top of an aquifur and can use all the water they wish.

Just wonderig if any of you lads or gals hit the lynx from time to time. I find it to pass the time rather quickly until dune season. If so, where do you like to play?

Yeah, there were a lot of empty Tecates at the Banshee Hill area during BWIII. Its up to the Rangers out there to enforce a strict littering policy. We just want to ride and not hit any trash coming down the backside of a dune. Can there be some industrial size trash collectors placed in spots out there? I know its not aestheticly sound, but its function is.
