    Rule of thumb is 10 hours. If its new, change it every ride for the first few rides.

    Pick up the latest issue of QUAD. They did a shootout with the YFZ and 700R. The 700 was the winner in the dunes and on the trails. The YFZ won on the MX track. For your size, no question about it. 700R, DS 650, or the VForce 700.

    I went Thu. and it was getting crowded. I left around 5pm and passed 100 toyhaulers coming into the dunes. As bad as it might be out Dumont, I'd rather be there than working in town over NBA weekend. Las Vegas (strip) is a mess right now. Does anyone know where I can buy a kevlar vest?

    I used the 100 octane from Rebel and started having problems. The bike would sit there idling and then just turn off. Last time out to Dumont, it was 5 min, and the bike took a crap and had to come home. Back to 91 for me.

    fk 700's? Easy youngblood...most bikes stock are dogs, especially in the sand. I haven't "dumped a hell of a lot of money" into my 700 and last weekend I was beating all 3 of the 450's up comp. I wasn't beating them by many bike-lenghts, but after seeing what the 450s were capable of, I don't regret my purchase at all. Best sport quad I've ever rode.
