Ok...so the fellas over at dunereview.com are sweating me about getting a trip planned mid-summer. Who's been there? I heard it was a 5 hour drive. We don't own a camper so we'll have to find some meager accomodations nearby. A member told me it was 10X the size of Dumont...he said I'll laugh at Dumont after riding Little Sahara. Post pics. if you have 'em.

Intelligent, educated, and civil debate is needed... also the movement to re-open the books on the endangered list as many of the plants and animals on the list(s) are not endangered anymore according to the U.S. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. I'll tell you what, people getting carted out of the dunes in the wee hours of the morning b/c they went out riding after drinking gives the terrorists more ammo. to shut down the dunes. And is it me, or does the trash increase throughout the area every time you go out? If the dunes are shut down, and you did nothing but sit back and hope everything works out, you deserve it.

Some people drive Ford, some stand by Chevy. All of the 450s today are really advanced and built well, you can't go wrong with either yamaha or honda. But I'd wait till the '07's are realeased to see what goodies they've added.

Guys trust me when I say we are lucky to have Dumont so close for us and our family to enjoy. However, there are many groups (greenpeace, WEO) who outnumber us and their ultimate goal is to shut down all dunes across the U.S. to OHVs. You people who don't care to pack out your trash are just making their case easier to keep us out of dunes. Greenpeace and other eco-terrorists are just gathering observations and facts now, you wait, 1 morning when you wake up, read the headlines for yourself. The next time your crew decides to tip a few back over at Comp. or a top of a large dune, think twice before you chuck the can into the sand. And that goes for broken whips, plastics, and other garbage. I don't want the dunes hijacked from us because of a couple lazy a_holes who can't pack it out.

What's a "Cherry Bomb"? I've never heard of it before the LTRs came out.

GUYS: pack your desert storm camo., find a nice place to hide, and then grab your pea shooter as soon as you see the little buggers messing w/ your pride and joy.
