Saturday day trip. Make sure I put the trans back together correctly.

So we arrived on friday got set up saw a few people we knew and had a couple drinks. Sandcars and coffee was great meet a lot people and off to the first run which was good. Lunch and the second run was even better. Buggy weigh in was good found out the car weighs 2100 lbs. Dinner was awesome and the raffle that followed . Pete and Anna you put on a great event ,we'll be back next year for sure. The photos below I did not take our daughter's boyfriend did,it was his first trip to the dunes,being in a sandrail ,and he is currently taking photography in high school.

I know of at least 5 other buggies coming that are not on DDR so I would estimate 60 at least and I'm going to bring our flat top grill also.

Well yes it has been, after Thanksgiving weekend the rail had a trans leak broken nose cone.Unfortunately I had come down with bronchitis which would last 3 weeks, followed by stomach flu for another week. Finally feeling better for a week and another round of bronchitis but this time the doctors prescribed everything.So meds for another 2 weeks and finally healthy again. So now time to take the rail to the shop fix the nose cone and few other items. See you all presidents day weekend.

If it is the plates that bolt the frame look up the template to install it. i installed my 5th wheel hitch and it's a slider.

Well it happened at the buggy round up. A few of us were going to make a short run came into a corner a little hot and when straight off into the air. The person following said that the car over couple times landed on the roof. No one hurt, roof damage and trailing arm.
