i shot the glovebox cover with clearcoat and let it dry yesterday. i tryed it with keys today, and it didn't scratch it, so i shot the hood part this morning with the clear enamel

we were gonna go, but we decided to go to the BC game in Santa Maria, and sit on a cold metal bench for 3 hours instead did anyone go? how was it? at the bigger venues, like qualcom stadium, they have rhino races as well as quad races

people @ krylon claim that the paint becomes chip proof after 7 days of drying plus im thinkin about shootn a clearcoat over it too

what does something like that run, price wise?

i got sick of the green color of my ranger, and have seen some pretty cool metallic flake colors in the krylon fusion paint that is made especially for plastics, in a rattlecan. I thought i would give it a shot this is some of the pieces in various stages

i think it depends on what you are putting them on....case in point when i bough my DS650 used, it came with geckos. my bike is WAAAAY too heavy for any size geckos, so all they did is bury my bike on any incline above a flat surface. but, my buddy had some on his dads z 400 at dumont in 05, and that thing ran like a striped ape. it was amazing to me as i sat there and watched how his bike did so well (otherwise a stock bike) with the same tires that made my quad run like crap in the sand. its an application issue, imo i personally run exteme skat traks (likethe haulers, but have a kevlar cup) on my DS, and i am very happy with the results...three seasons of riding on them, and they are holding up fine. i also am pleased with the way i can slide with them if i want to...i alsways thoguht straight paddles wouldnt allow that, but i was wrong

yamaha lovers never understood them the only difference is the EFI, and the fact that yamaha finally made it possible to change the fluids and clean the air filter without bloodying your hand up freekin geniuses
