    i dont know i have had issues with this ever since i got the car but it grinds when shifting up and down i put a new slave on it just installed new throw out shaft and bearing the clutch plates look good but it still grind wtf i dont know what else it could be i have even tried not useing the clutch at all and it shifts fine no grind but the rpms have to be low any sugetstions would help oh yea this is an early vw tran with an 1835 eng

    barstow is about 90 miles or so from dumont. so if you drive realy fast and avoid the chipies you could make it in less than one hour

    great post the sheriffs dept. gave a free course on holloween and i see they are doin the same for t day weekend take the kids to it if you make it to the d that weekend and its free

    anyone know how long the roof vent covers should last i have an o8 attitude and when i got to dumont this weekend and opened them there was only pieces of them i was like wtf. just wondering if these are something that im ganna have to replace on a yearly basis.

    not a rant. just something that happened at the d this weekend, that i thought was funny. well these two teenage girls came into our camp and said trick or treat. so we gave them some candy then they asked if they could buy a 20 pack of coors light off us and they would have thir dads come back to get it. i just thought it was funny that someone would send the kids out to find daddy some beer.

    sounds like a good idea to me. the more info we have the easyer it is to spot someting in the crowds that are out and about. it sux to hear about someone losing thier hard earnd stuff. and we always remember the lil things about our stuff after, the repeorts have been made. good luck in getting ur stuff back cheri.

    i have a vw 1840 and was wondering what oil i should use i have never had an air cooled eng and want to make sure i dont just but in some 10 / 30 and mess it up please help
