This may not bee the place to say this but here we go. I can rember when the dunes where free and the people did what the signs say pack it in pack it out and then some.no fire work and nobody roped off the dunes or put out cone there where no camp racers and leo what leo. the blade did not do the road.now we pay to use the dunes and have more problems. people had respect for others and their things So if I go to the next meeting and set through it and say my peace and help out where needed is there going to something done about all the aholes out there?????????? just my humble opinon If it will help let me now when and where and I will be there. I've done worse for less :north_pole: we also flow the you broke it you buy it. had a buddy bring a frind to dumont in may he hit the trailer with a frizbe and said its just a trailer and took three of them to pull me off him. Take my car and he would have just disapeard in the sand never to be seen again.

Thanks scott we posted yeasterday in Baker and at the dog shelter in Barstow and have call and sent pic of her to all the shelters in a 200 mile radias from Dumont and just posted to the lost pet form you lined me with. Thanks for all your help.

I got no prob getting along with others. just that a 2200 lb car can get out of hand real easy and be in some budys camp real fast and than there will be a big problem. this pic is of the car just after the run he made could not get my camera quick enuff to get him roosting by camp By the way I was the one that stopped and asked if you where ok when you were putting your fan belt back on

I dont think you can jude distences az we where about 45 feet from the dunes and when you turned around on the little jont by are camp and guned the car to hall azz down the finger back tord your camp and park the car at over 50 I gess that is not to close to other campsnext time I will retun the faver.

I just got back from the greatest sand in the 50 states. The road is still bad in spots mostly after the pay station. We were there to search for are lost pup. still did not find her. the sand is still a little ruff but not bad and we where all over it. Started at vender row and went tords the north pole looking in every nook and crany.from the north pole we followed the old rail tracks to the wash and back to the main road and back to vender row and then down the first finger to the rock hill and all over the trails and around to the south pole back to the north pole and back through the dune to comp hill and back to vender row to load up and come home. P.S could not belive the trash that was left by all the shat heads..

making my second pass up comp in the whoop section and on the last one it hoped up and than loaded the trans before I could get it to third. plus it was not built strong enough.

hoping to be back on new years weekend if I can get the wife to go back after losing the dog.

We parked buy the end of the last finger by vender row. the people that came buy us for the most part were ok Butt there is one car I would like to talk about not respecting others on the car is A's & 8's and the other side is a flush I do have pics of the car will post later as I need to compress them. Doing wheels and roosting by camps is not cool in any book he road up and down the finger like it was his very own play ground at very high rates of speed

we had a great time all in all. got to the dunes fri morning at 4:30 unloaded the car got about 30 min sleep got coffee moved trailer to the spot we wanted .put paddles on went to play 5 mounths building car 20 thous in parts 150 in stuff to go to dunes 15 min of plaing with car 4000 in trans repair all in all priceless

We were at the edge of the finger across from Vendor Row. She disappeared sometime in the early night on Saturday - when the fireworks were going off. Anyone?
