So, I've owned my 79' z50 (in background) for about 10 years now. I've always wanted two of them, so someone can ride with me, ya see? I found this 84' for a good price, but I was haggered. Bought it anyways and started another tear down process. It actually ran better than my 79'. Here I go again! NOTE: for the pictures I hid all of the VCRs that normally have parts laying all over the garage. :flatbiller: ----------------------------------- Here's my progress as of today. I didn't like the orange of the 84' so I powdercaoted some things. I also bought new fenders for my 79' and put the old ones on this one. painterjoe said he'll paint the tank.

Yeah, I'm interested in the cheepie too. Sucks that their website only has video of the wide lens cams. I'm also still waiting for the replacement glass lens kits to be available. Mine's pretty dinged up from... well... " stayin' close enough to see who's in front of ya". When I bought mine I had in mind all kinds of uses like mountain bikes too. Glad you're using yours in multiple ways. I used windows movie maker to make my little cheesy videos. For some reason the software reduces the quality of the video. This bumms me the out, cuz it's easy to use plus it's free. I know, I got what I paid for..... R-

Yeah, That was me and Rick in the buggy that informed you of Jeff's whereabouts. It was really sad to see you shaken up that bad. I felt so bad for you. It was my buddy Eric (Urckel on DDR here) that gave Jeff the buggy ride to the ambulance. Your group all seem really cool. Jeff too! Jeff had us laughin' when he answered the question who the president was. ask him if he remembers that. Hope he continues to heal up quickly. And of course, Hope to see him out there again under much much better circumstances. R-
