  1. Dont you think that some of these modded rhino's arent really being operated with the intent that Yamaha had for them? jumping ,drunken operators under aged operators theres more things Im sure.People need to be responceable... something that dosent exist in todays world...If you fall off and get hurt you should accept the fact..
  2. I have been hanging out here in South Dakota for a few days and I can imagine what it smells like. After living in a town like Vegas where the farming and livestock is nonexistant.. smells back here can gag a maggot.. not to even mention what they'd be like on a 120 degree August afternoon
  3. I was wondering if anyone saw the episode of Dirtyest Jobs with the Vegas pig farm.. I can honestly saw it was prob the most discusting thing I have seen on that show....the sewage filled basement ran a close second....I hear people in Vegas talking about this place wheres it located? near houses I imagine.. That old dude prob has nothing to worry about I doubt any company would spend the money to clean that place up...
  4. I love stuff like that... Id love to get a job working on those types of things....funny people who build those prob say they wana work on race cars...hahah
  5. 1.750 .120 wall that tank tough we run 1.750 0.83 for our car chassis its DOM I belive it should be up to the builders to adopt some sort of cert process to make sure a roll cage is nothing more than a fancy light bar or sun shade...
  6. I work for Team Red Bull in Mooresville NC.. their new Nextel Cup Team... Its kinda nice not having to buy it... every room in the shop has a completly stocked Red Bull fridge.....
  7. Keep drinking RedBull my paycheck depends on it.....
  8. Crazy stuff happens... while I was out in Vegas working for a team we had a hit at Dover Deleware that was over 49 G's... needless to say we threw that one away...
  9. Its good to see... theres other things that can get hurt in an accident besides your melon... you dont have time to think about your arms or legs.. theres just so many possabilities for stuff to go wrong... And your right about the interior being tight but NASCAR makes us put padding in places the driver could never reach bettr better sorry than safe....
  10. Auctually its pretty common to see stock internal LSX motors dip into the 10's and heads an cam cars go 9's theres a timeslip database on LS1 Tech.com that can back all of it up... the days of camel hump heads and a holley double pumper are over....People who dont really get into the LSX motors dont realize what the heads are capable of and what a simple cam swap can do... As far as the saftey goes for cars I cant even see a peice of roll bar padding in any pictures I know it dosent look cool but it can save your a$$... and im not talking about Home Depot pipe insulation but rather SFI cert BSCI padding...If people want to know how to do certian things like mount seats and belts they can look in magazines like Speedway Illistrated or circle track they have tons of write ups geared for local racers to do things right... I guess maybe im just kind of a saftey nut from working in racing...
  11. V tec kick in and the Power Strokes and Duramax's better look out....
  12. You guys need the cheer for me next year I'll be working for Team RedBull #83 NASCAR Nextel Cup and another mystery car... gears and trannys assembled by yours trully... As Far as Fontucky goes.....I was there for the BGN race Sat working it was warm but not hot... you should go to Kansas in July... Na$car can get away with ripping people off in So Cal because the money is there the household income for the area makes Darlington look like a 3rd world country dosent matter if its a sell out the stands and infeild hold more people and yeild higher prices its a win win situation. As far as TRD and Waltrip they have one driver that could never drive and ones that fallen off the wheel sounds like a good combination too me.
  13. Nobody mentioned the Welfare /disabality that he prob collects as well
  14. I can see where your comming from on the auto based idea.. But myself being a true gear head I would prefer the options avalible with a manual box not to mention an automatic trans scares the crap out of some people when it comes repair time..Also the abality to taylor ratio sets which im sure alot of people do already would be a big plus ...
  15. No jerico's or quick changes....Same kind of idea though the technology in a Jerico is based on an old ford top loader which would make that older than many of us on this site...
  16. If a trans were avalible for any level HP car out there say 300 to 1000+ that utilized Competition proven compontes from Nextel Cup and drag racing( I know Mendeola uses G Force sliders and face plates) was so easy to work on having to pay MFG for service was not needed there are over 200 gear ratios avalibe to suit N/A as well as turbo apps it would be a 4 speed unit with an avalivble O.D ... Since I moved to NC I have some free time on my hands and have been thinking/sketching up some Ideas along with a friend who runs Solidworks programs... maybe someday something like this could free me from my east coast exile...
  17. Does Sparks make one im sure they do I'd check them out Sparks racing .com
  18. I see you too have a Sparks exhaust..thats what I run in my 660 worked great in the sand works great everywhere auctually...there not to happy with it where I ride back here in North Carolina...
  19. I think about the simplest way is to use some headder wrap but you'll hear people talk down on it... a coating isnt gunna keep you from melting off a layer of skin or two...
  20. A good friend of mines dad has a huge Muscle car collection up in Idaho and he has a 69 Baldwin Motion Camaro 1 of 2 made only one know to still be in existance and that thing is pricless I was told over 1 million... and about 50 other cars that are wicked rare
  21. Nice ride... I have often thought that it would be less expensive to order the car without a motor and build or have something built... I have spent alot of time on LS1/LS6 web sites and can tell you that you can make 600+hp easly esp.with the new heads that GM is comming out with (L92) They flow like 18 deg heads and can be bought at any chevy dealer for under 1000 bucks ready to run I have looked at some engine supplyers sites and its amazing what there gettin for engines...
  22. Well today was the first chance I had to ride the old Raptor here in the wonderful state of North Carolina...For those who dont know, which im pretty sure is everyone I recently moved east to work for Kevin Harvick inc...Todays destanation was "Brushy mountian motorsports park" On a scale of 1 to 10 Id give the people and facility an 8 nice restrooms beautiful camp ground and 77 miles of maintained trails... sounds cool right?WRONG.... 99% of the trails were so narrow I was reduced to putting along in 1st gear sometimes second...dodging tress tress and more trees a few rocks and cliffs.Im convinced that the +2 kit on the Raptor isnt the hot set up back here.As I roamed through the woods I couldnt help but miss the wide open desert and that wonderful place called Dumont.... Im so jelious of you all.Im not sure when I'll ever come home maybe never...Just when I relized that theres more to life than racing...work and money I pack up all my junk and relocate 3000 miles away....So next time you sitting on top of a dune or bitching cause you have to go ride at Apex just think of me..
  23. On the link it said it cost 80 million to build did I miss something because the wynn had to cost waayy more than that...Damn oil producing countries....
  24. Need a stronger oil pan.....
  25. I have talked to Dan a few times on some jetting questions and he seems really sharp..soon as I scrape up som cash Im takin the Yamagouchi there to get the 686 up grade...
