I hate to ask favors from anyone especially people I dont know but,sometimes you have to pride aside... After 3 and a half years at the same company my GF and her place of employment have parted ways.She has a current resume and her background is Public relations/marketing....but would be willing to do any type of work... She has great computer and people skills. We are going to give it a few weeks to pan out and if nothing comes up were loading the car and truck and heading back to NC which is not what she or I want to do..So if anyone knows anybody or is looking for employees themselves please concider what she has to offer. Recently I have been kicking around the idea of putting some brighter lights on the old LTR. I dont really like the little bullet lights im thinking something more along the lines of something you'd see on the front of a locomotive Friends from work do some night trail riding from Vegas to Good Springs plus its a good way not to end up as a hood orniment on a rail..I can fab up anything to mount them to the bike using push pins and a little 4130... I just dont know what lights would be best... would the stock stator be enough or would I need an aftermarket one? Harley

I was having some nickle plating done here in town a few years ago and the only place in town was APS by the Orleans tryed the chrome zone but had bad results.... Electroless nickle would be the hot set up for suspension stuff pretty much every car in Nextel cup has their com ponets done you can weld right to it as well as mag the parts with no problems

1320's thinking of INEX they control the Legends cars and bandoleros's at the Bullring... dwarf cars are kinda open on lots of things....a friend of mine was a state champ in a dwarf car.... I dont really know much about them other than they can be converted to long travel single seat sand cars....

It really sucks to see stuff like this happen.... hopefully NHRA will be pro-active about this incident and do something about their cars and tracks

06 LTR here.... but I got a Yamaha too.....

Sparks...pipe filter and jet kit.... thats what I had done to the old 660 and going to be gettin one for the LTR..... But be advised the X-6 big core is LOUD.....

Thats one thing I did like about North Carolina... the people are much more friendly,they will go out of their way to let you into traffic or change lanes stop and help you out... hold doors for you and say thanks when you do..

I'd go with a LTR-450... I just bought one a month or 2 ago and love it...I have an 03 660 Raptor with shocks +2 a arms pipe and some other stuff its like riding a semi truck compared to the LTR..YFZ's are ok but I'd rather buy a 40 dollar cherry bomb...and a pipe with the LTR instead a pipe ,shocks... A arms... jetting... like you would with a TRX or YFZ...

Like the topic states I need to change the oil in the 450... Due to my travel schedule I need to try to pick up some oil here in Daytona Beach.. question is which type and how much... I was thinking Suzuki 10-40 and 3 quarts should do....Some people over on LT-R450 central said addin an extra 200ml of oil cured the whie from than trans which mine now has.....(kinda reminds me of an old Jerico) I need to do this Saturday morning before I leave ... any tips or pointrs would be sweet..... :freakin_nuts:

I found an article some where on the web about av gas not really being the hot set up... Some cases it hurt performance... I guess I could do a search Im sure this has been asked a 100 times but which rebel stations carry 100 at the pump? I may pick up some for the ole LTR before I head out saturday morning and I dont really feel like driving all over town

Its not really about racing..its about politics and who can kiss the most a$$... 75% of the people who work in the shops have no buisness being there ..most arent smart enough to fall out of a tree... Whoever built that car needs to work on their geometry...look at all the bump in the front wheels.... hahaha
