I always liked the old spot you guys had right next to the finger dune. That way, you have no one camped directly behind you.

The bigger tire, the harder it is to spin, therefore less power, but if you have the power it will give you more top end. Think about it in terms of real trucks. See how slow and hard it is for the lifted trucks to take off while a stock truck of the same model will smoke it off the line. Once the lifted trucks get moving they will have a higher top speed at the same rpm as the stock truck. So as you can see, you don't ever get more power, you just gain in how you want ot use it. Smaller tire, quicker out of the hole, bigger tire, more top end. But be careful sometimes the bigger tire will hurt you if you are trying to haul a$$ up a big hill, if your quad doesn't have enough power to turn them. Hope this helps.

Dimestorhood, What you are looking for are Skat-Trak paddle tires. Those are what I have on my kids LT80. Here is the manufacturer's web site. Bad news, I lost a shift selenoid in my tranny last night. The tranny shop is gonna warranty it out cuz they just put it in, so if they fix it in time, I might still come out on sunday. Keeping my fingers crossed.

That really pisses me off! The last time it was destroyed it broke the kids hearts that we took out to see it. When we pulled up and it was gone, they almost cryed. To the a-holes that did this I hope karma gets them good. Pete, get some worm drive hose clamps and cut some holes in the side of the mailbox.
