  2. ok, dirty boy. mine broke a few years ago and had to order new one from larry but he gone...maybe has parts...call him. but mine was the u-joint model...but same idea anyway, here are the pics of the inside to give you an idea
  3. we went to amargosa to avoid crowds and be cooler. both were true. went wed and only ones there till sat when about 6 mh showed up and that was it. very surprised.
  4. just curious as to how many people showed up. crowded? hot? thanks
  5. which tires are those and how much you guys want? thanks
  6. need set of rims and tires for xp900...stock type...good shape etc. thanks
  7. gee, i thought i was the only guy to complain about the blm and there priorities. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. how about some times and speeds. that would be helpful to see how fast etc.
  9. never seen a dumont event and had absolutely no postings afterward! 3 days and nothing? guess friday was a bad day? where are the pics and vids?
  10. ok, its already sat nite and not one thing said about the drags on friday. well??
  11. still quite puzzled why this event is on friday?? dont most people have to work on fridays?? to bad, alot of people will have to miss this event due to work.
  12. well another thought. the kids actually have more protection from the 3". the 3" doesnt allow them to slide out as easy...ask my little grandkids... just my thoughts
  13. true a little more bulky but the pressure is spread out over more area so not digging into shoulders and upper chest as much. i have both the 2" and 3", sewn and not sewn on different cars. next time i will do the 3" sewn in when i have to buy
  14. my opinion--3" are more compfy and I would get the shoulder harness sewn in so only 1 latch to fiddle with. i have both and hate the ones were I have to put 3 tangs into the lap belt.
  15. still here, will be taking to dumont this weekend if anyone interested..thanks
  16. well, looky, looky....plans 2, 3, 4 do not allow any open riding in the desert. only on existing trails and the blm will designate which trails are existing and they can close any off those trails upon a whim. our freedom of riding thru the open desert will be lost forever once these plans go into effect i would go to the meeting but i am leaving for a 4 day motorcycle ride at 7 am. hopefully someone can get there. bundy is on the right track...govt trying to keep us home to watch tv. thanks for the rant...just tired of getting pushed out of public lands.
  17. saying they will be closed is a wake up call to the off road community. i never trust the govt, blm etc. they take it all inch by inch and then walla...no riding anywhere...ask california, southern utah etc. since i have been riding for 60 yrs there are many many places i cannot ride any longer. its called protection...bs bs bs.
  18. Here is an article from Pahrump that looks like the BLM is in the process of closing Amargosa Dunes. Many of us ride there and this is another reason the govt is out of control. One of the last places of freedom. Amargosa will become another Kelso Dunes. Might want to check out the article. http://pvtimes.com/news/blm-plan-criticized-adding-new-areas.html
  19. Had whips since 2008, they not as good as before etc etc. They were replaced for a nominal charge and now have brand new ones. Nice people to deal with and more than fair So PROPS to a business person that treats his customers well.
