one could also just loosen the bolts after each trip and drain the little bit of gas out so it will be dry. could also lube . i may find a way to put a little spigot on the aluminum plate and drain with that. sounds like too much work but nothing like having no fuel when arrive at dunes etc. i shouldnt complain since the th is a 2007 and this if first time. loosing the bolts made it work again but i also took out and sanded down the sides. it really works better than before i think, pump seems faster.

yep, sanded down and work great for now. just wanted a spare set in case they break. best i could find was $23 for gears and $13 to ship 1 ounce, i will wait

not quite, metal key may not work. $44--ouch!. most i have found are $15. i will call gpi tomorrow and see if they still have the replacement gears for the m-55. thanks

(We seen gains of 6-8mpg on off road trucks. Give me a shout and i can go into more detail and prices, it doesnt cost that much to gain tons of mileage, reliability and power.)----------- but you are saying this is for an off-road truck only and NOT a street legal epa compliant truck, correct? to keep epa legal in clark county, about what mileage gains and cost in general?

ok, without getting to technical and crazy, what can be done with 2008 dodge 6.7 to improve the gas mileage and be smog legal and not break the bank. ball park figure on cost. was told was a waste of time unless bypass emissions and then big $$. thanks

Water tank in th is leaking again at the fitting that is welded on. the seam has pulled away just enough to leak water. anyway, anyone in vegas that can fix these or reweld the fitting? or is there any type of jb weld type stuff that might fit into the gap and not leak? thanks

you can get a title with the correct paperwork. get the vin first, get bill of sale or old title and apply for nevada title. its up to dmv whether they give you a nev title.

"Nevada is a non title state". Not a true statement. July 1, 2013 all that changes and titles will be mandatory. You can also get a Nevada title now if you have the correct paperwork. I got my registrations and now I will work on Nevada titles.

all property is owned by someone. federal property still does not allow leos to search my property without due cause. due cause is allowed if the dogs are alerted. you can still refuse but you will be arrested and put in jail. you know, guilty till you prove your innocence. they have you by the wallies in that case. but if the dog is not alerted, then no touchy my stuff. this is just another type of harassment. can you imagine stopping everyone on the freeway to do the same thing. wont happen. so, then why the dunes? the problem is that people cant act normal and be responsible for their actions, so big daddy government comes to the rescue. if the government would put some bite into the laws, this wouldnt happen--like $10000 fine and 5 years in jail. im just venting since so many of our rights are being taken away by the extreme leftist morons. i do like the idea that people are caught so they cant harm duners while the bad dudes are high on something. ok, ive said enough. this could go on forever.

i still have not heard the reason they were doing a random search for drugs or whatever. i guarantee that the search was completely illegal. i really cant believe they were searching vehicles and trailers when they know it is illegal. someone know what the real story is? if i am minding my own business, then cant search me or my vehicles, trailers etc. there is no probable cause to do so. you want to search my stuff, get a search warrant. so, whats the skinny here.

and dont forget amargosa is usually 5-10 degrees cooler than dumont. we like to go there early and late season when dumont too hot.

nevada has the tonopah dunes and sand mt east of fallon. sand mt can be a zoo when the hill climbs r there etc. cant even find a parking area when busy. giant hill climb like sand mt in utah. long and steep and u better be jetted right if you have a 2 stroke dragster etc.

the cal sticker is only good in utah if you are a california resident. a nevada resident that uses a california sticker in utah is not valid and they will and can make you buy a utah sticker anyway. been there, done that. thats why i, for one, am really happy about nevada finally doing stickers.

ynot, u are missing the point. having your ohv's registered in other states is just a headache for you. the other states state that you must have your car registered in YOUR HOME STATE, or buy registration in the state you are visiting. so, you could end up with stickers from idaho, utah, arizona and california on one vehicle. when you go to utah with a sticker from california and your drivers license says nevada, guess what...utah will make you get their sticker also. the same goes for the other states. I am elated that nevada finally got its crap together, as now I only have to have ONE sticker per ohv, yippee. also, nevada is only $20 and cal and ut are $30. I did nine ohvs for $180 for nevada. I saved $90 not doing calif, about enough to buy my dumont pass. But the big thing is I wont be hassled in the other states from now on. I dont have to worry about getting stopped and them giving me the 3rd degree about having the incorrect state sticker etc etc. Yippee. Anyway, just my thoughts. ps. if you get caught without a nevada sticker when riding in nevada after July1, 2013, nevada will fine you for having no registration. getting nevada stickers is a win-win for nevada residents.
