I have a 1/2 F150 and tow a WW Superlight....even fully loaded it can pull it pretty good. NOW, on big hills and whatnot, it does struggle. With that said, I always stay in the far right lane (even the truckers lane going up Baker Grade) and will also pull to the side if some REALLY needs to pass and doesn't have the room, but going up hill while struggling, pulling off only F's me and my momentum up. I used to have it floored with the RPM's pinged at 5500-6500 (up hill) but learned my lesson one time coming back (blown up piston and had to get a new block), so I watch it. Like Pete said, not all of us can afford a nice deisel truck that can handle anything. We deal with what we have....

Okay, I thought it was Mike from GTP but it was you that I saw in Duck Creek this past weekend...passed ya twice on the trails on Sunday.

The LAW has passed, there really isn't anything anyone can do right now, we just need to "shut up and color". Until someone actually tries to fight and get it removed or re-worded, we all just have to wear helmets or go other places outside of Cali. (which I am happy to).

We're heading to Pirates Cove on the river for Halloween! Lake/River and Trail riding.....AND, NO HELMETS!!!! hahahaa

Great write up man. I fuggin love that place. We used to do the first couple of days in the dunes, then the last day nuthin but trails. Bought a map and then we were all over the fuggin place.

DAMMMMMMMMN. Wish I was going...haven't been there since before we moved up to Reno. Hopefully next time. I'm meeting with the movers that weekend for the move back to Vegas!!!

I agree with JJ on that ...Marysvale is fuggin AWSOME!!!!! Also up there, if ya want to just flatbed it, you can rent little cabins and stuff like that. Place is great. Our longest ride up there was for 9-10 hrs, around 140 miles.

Steve, Duck Creek is fun...Haven't been up there for YEARS....but last time, the rangers were on the fence about quads and SXS's fitting through the gates. Each Ranger was different...some said that if it fit through (54") that it's good, some said Not At All...but not all trails there had gates. There's alot of trails up there. Best camping (dry camping) is off of Mammoth Creek Road....plenty of access to trails and old loggin roads.

Don't think he wants "show", just a nice, good job. I believe he will be driving this, not daily, but doesn't want it as a "garage" car. Thanks for the recommendations. I will let him know about these,.

Hey all...I have a buddy that is rebuilding his old VW Ghia. He is lookin for a good reputable place to get it painted. He said that he will strip most everything off of the vehicle himself. He is looking to get the WHOLE thing, in and out painted. Is there anyone on here that does auto painting or know a good shop do get it done at? Thanks
