Curious if Polaris is doing anything for your friend or if it's being handled by insurance. Seems like if it was a defect from the factory like you say it should be on Polaris.

We rolled into Dumont about 2:30pm Thanksgiving day, we couldn't wait to get unloaded and get some sand under the tires of the new RZR. We took advantage of the time most people we eating and got some ride time in! Back to camp as the sun was setting to make a fire and a late Thanksgiving dinner topped off with smores around the fire. My daughters first time having smores she love em. Friday was all duning all day. With just me in the RZR on stock tires I could go up anything and go anywhere, with the family It was a little different story but still not to bad. Hoping to have paddles by the buggy round up. Friday night it was WINDY and I forgot to put the damn awning up (which I hardly ever put down in the first place.) Saturday the wind never stopped but we didn't let that stop us, I actually had some great runs...The dunes were less crowded and smooth(er). We went on a couple runs Sunday then packed it up and headed back to Vegas. Overall super happy with the new machine Water heater went out on the TH so no showers for 4 days I lost my gas cap only to find it after spending $50 on a new one Riding the rzr on to ramps to get it to fit in my TH wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be... 150 miles put on the car in 3 days of duning See you in 2 weeks

Wife and I are dropping the kid off at her parents and will be there Friday night. A weekend of fast runs, meeting new people, and not changing poop diapers sounds great!

I just picked up a 4 seater 1000 from AZ West in Havasu City. Fantastic service and NO HASSLE best deal around. Triple S in Cedar City is worth calling.

Any groups out there with young kids mind another trailer in your group? Our usual group isn't coming this year so it'll be myself, my wife and our 3 yr old daughter pulling in Friday morning (28th) to Monday. Down to earth people, I'm a jet mechanic and she works for Metro. love to ride and have a beer around the fire. We'll have our hauler, RZR, and firewood. Would love to see my daughter get to play with some kids! Thanks and we'll see ya'll out there either way

We'll be there! Turkey day with the in-laws then Dumont Friday-Monday woot woot! Maiden voyage for new xp4 1000! Would love to meet some new duners to roll with!

This isn't much of a trip report so I put it here in General Chat. Took the wife and kid out to the D for the first weekend of the season (darn jobs) and had a blast. The sand was smooth especially following a big weekend and the weather was great..although still a little warm! The quad felt like a rocket under my a$$ after the top end rebuild with port job and fresh piston. big fires, great rides, good bbq, smooth sand, and my girls with me made it a great weekend....BUT..... What REALLY made this trip is my wife finally got sick of driving our daughter around in our old rhino and gave me the nod for the new RZR xp4 1000! Wooo! I almost made her put it in writing haha. Now, the hunt is on! Sorry no pics was to busy!

Great news, be there tomorrow

So since the Holiday is on Tuesday this trip won't be as long as I want but it's all good. Ill be out there with the family early Saturday morning and we'll head back to Vegas Monday morning. We'll probably be close to the ridge line to the left of the Ranger station as you come in so my daughter can ride around on the harder stuff and down behind in the little trails.
