I tried to get a meeting on a Sat. but trying to find a date that the TRT members could make was more than 4 months out so the idea was shelved for now. I will bring it up again at the next meeting.

are you telling me it would cost over 100,000 bucks to do trash bins???? Or more. It would have to be trucked to Parump and pay out of state dump fees. :icon_twisted:

ISBB- I work 6 12's sometimes more Pete- How about you write down what you want to to see the money collected be used for. The TRT members are a very small group and without any outside input its hard to stand up to outside infuences, ie; dumpsters. Richard- Not as much as each person writing thier own letter. I am sorry if I offended anyone, but I was tired of hearing everyone say what they want to the board, but not to the BLM/TRT. :icon_twisted:

I want to know why all the people here are so full of ideas and sugestions but nobody can take the time to write a letter to the TRTc/o the Barstow BLM, let alone show up at a meeting. Don't tell me its to far I drive 300 miles round trip to go to the meetings, and use vacation days to do it.

Bob, No your fees would have to be raised to cover the costs. The money comeing from the Govenment has been shinking and the costs have been rising, the fee money has been used to fill in the gap.

I do not want to see dumpsters at Dumont for the reasons allready stated as well as once the BLM puts dumpsters out there they can never pull them, they would be perminent and forever. We have heard $100,000+ per year to do it.

This whole argument is one that can not nor will it ever be solved. I would not dream of going on a dune run without a helmet, but you should have the right to decide for yourself what you want to do, and I don’t think that the Government ought to be telling you what you can and cannot do. That said I do not think that anyone that gets hurt while riding without a helmet should get any public assistance, because they have not used any and all means to protect themselves.
