I don't mind the 70 feet either. My wife does so it would be me driving. If we did a TH the she would be OK driving. A A 40' 5er is to much for a 1 ton truck? really? Wow I would have never thought that. If I did a TH I think it would have to be an open plan right with the amount of things I have to put in. Very good point about having to unload to setup if we go somewhere else because that's our intentions. And I do have another vehicle to drive. The tow vehicle is just for towing and sits parked until needed.

My wife and I have a 23' motorhome and want something bigger. We were thinking of getting a toyhauler. Just wanted to get some opinions from people that have one. Looking for a 33' or bigger fifth wheel. We have a 4 seat rail that is 14' long and 2 quads that have to go in it.

I called the ohv division of the dmv to see what i had to do. Since i have a title for my sand rail i dont have to get a vin inspection. She emailed me the 2 pieces of paper i had to fill out and mail in. Easy peasy.

Thats what I was afraid of. When you take Tecopa rd you still hit it? Are there more hills down that road? Ive never been to Tecopa. What is tricky about it?

I'm new to Vegas so I was wondering the easiest ride to Dumont from here. I was going there from Pahrump which I can do was just trying to avoid the huge hill coming back. I've seen some people going down Tecopa road. I have an older motorhome pulling a double stacked trailer with 2 rails so just looking for the least amount of climbing even if I have to drive a little longer.

I may come for a day trip with the new rail. Is there a big hill to climb if I come from Vegas like there is from Pahrump.

Ive wondered the same thing. But instead of a trailer like a car hood or sled. Im from Illinois with snow where we used to pull them behind a quad but since we get no snow in the desert was wondering about westernising it and doing it in the sand.

Thats my biggest worry. If it goes over will I get it back up.

Oh yes my wife will be there taping it. As long as the paddle isnt alot wider than the street tire on it it should clear. Well I guess I will be on the lookout for a paddle. Keep your eyes peeled out at dumont. You may see a bright orange ninja riding a wheelie up comp with no driver!

Hey everyone. Please don't laugh at my dumb question. I have joked about taking my 650 ninja to the dunes if I could find a paddle tire for it. Recently I have actually became interested in really doing this. My question is would it be to heavy for the sand? I'm not worried about the power or being able to control it as long as I was able to get it on top of the sand. Any thoughts or ideas?

Just a quick question. Do any of the new bills or any other for that matter say I cant put my daughters car seat in the back seat of my rail and drive to comp hill to watch or anything?

I am looking at a 1600 turbo vw 4 seater rail and was wondering if it was going to do what I need/want. I am wanting it to climb comp and buzz around the dunes. I dont have to be the first one up but I want it to be faster than walking up the dunes or a stock 400 quad. Any opinions will be appriciated.
