I was wonderin if anyt of you guys change your gearing for the dunes .... I have a 06 trx 450r , i run 14/38 in the desert and dune's i can pull comp in 3rd sometimes 4th ...stock is 13/38 ..........but it seemed too low in the desert i was always searchin for a higher gear in 5th ...........So should i try different gearing for dunes to pull 4th?? or will it be the same as runnin 3rd with the gearing i have now?? Sorry for all the questions just i've never messed with gearing ........ Also what kind of bike do you have and what gearing are you runnin??

hey bro ive pulled honda axels on 250r's 300ex's 400 etc there all the same i also have a manuel for the trx 450 r if you want i can come by and help u get it off

Dude i just got back too .....yeah it was pretty tore up but it was still fun as hell .....What were u ridin out there???

I had a 86 trx 250r two yr's ago and the top end blew in the bowl ......Couldnt tow it out with another quad and we tried to get guys with buggy's to help but they kept goin . So my buddy took his 4 door ford down there and ended up rippin the front drive line out .So we loaded the quad in the bed and got my old 74 pos dodge down there and tried pullin him out ...took about 2 hours and 50 trys but i finaly got the ford out .......That and i fried my tranny and every seal in it ...but atleast we made it out ....

Dude our toy hauler was doin the same thing .....turns out the fule line was kinked and started to crack so it was suckin air ...run a fuel line 9into a gas can and start it if it stays runnin its not gettin fuel so scope out ur line
