well im out work call and the money was right! with my luck ill have my new trailer my old trailer and no time to deal with them. halloween is on for sure and maybe a shake down before.

after i moved to vegas from portland oregon. i found out my mom had breast cancer. i took off and made the 1000 mile trip in 13 hours no tickets and surprised my parents just as they were sitting down to the breakfast table. it was just what mom needed. that was in my civic that was all raced out low, fast, and killer stereo. cruzed at 90-95mph alot of the way.

hoping to make it out friday night or saturday morning depends on how late i work

well I just got back from a trip back to north Carolina to move my girlfriends stuff here. it was a good trip and didn't take very long to do having 2 drivers and good conditions. we flew out Monday and spent most of the day travling. with the time change (3 hours)and lay over (2 hours) to change planes. picked up the truck the next morning (f350 gas 16' box after returning 2 gmcs for different problems) and spent the day loading in 2 different places. then traveling to her dads place for the night about 300 mile for the day. Wednesday morning we headed out I40 wanting to push through a long day and put some miles down. ended up just east of Oklahoma city right about a 1000 miles for the day (states of north Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and Oklahoma) Thursday after a good night rest we left around 9 am thought we would shoot for gallop and decide what to do then. we made it there around 8pm had dinner and started talking seriously about sleeping in our own bed instead of another hotel. I and taken the first shift of the day about 400 miles and she had taken the next one about 500 miles while I had rested some. I said I was up for pushing on after all it sounded so nice flagstaff, needles, and laughlin (due to the rental truck being banned from the dam crossing) searchlight cross the valley and my comfy bed! sounded so easy! so with a 4 pack of red bull and some bad am radio (my serius sat radio had a melt down on the first day) we headed out and made it home at 3:330am we had 2 time changes that day :mc_smiley: . ended up right at 1300 miles and 21 hours for the day .(states of texas, new mexico, arizona, and nevada) it was all 70-75 top speed I40. never felt too tired with having a break and a nap while robin was driving. and having someone to chat with. I have pulled 8 or so 1000 mile trips solo before but this was the most miles in a single day in on the road. so what kind of miles or time have you traveled? flying is a whole another topic!

I work in and around this industry and $250 a day is a fool wage. if it was on the up and up $400/$500 for a 10 hour day is where it should start. plus fuel and mileage. who's insurance is covering you and the crew? if they don't have the right permits could you be fined banned? cash or the will it be send you a check? sounds shady
