here is a deal for anyone that doesnt want to haul your trash home. come find me and for $20 a bag ill haul it safely home to my garbage bin. help off set my gas bill serious!!! i can haul 10-15 bags coverd with a tarp and strapped down. can always find room in my wallet for lazy peoples money.

i dont see any other excuss but LAZYNESS! if you dont want to haul it home dont bring it out! with all the sh*t we haul a bag of garbage or 2-3 is such a little item what reason could there be for not packing it out?

the whole pass issue should have been put off un tell next year. so blm had the time to put a plan, a price and, idea together in one thought. I know because of funding issues they needed the increase this year. but it looks like a bumbling government mess that will end up costing them the extra money they need. (the road comes back to mind) it sure doesn't make them look responsible to manage the money they do get. thankfully we have the trt. so if im straight on this if I go to dumont next weekend I need to either drive to barstow blm or mail my 3 old $20 passes and $60 and hope to get it back before I leave saturday. neither is going to happen even if I sent it fed ex with return paid. and driving there is a waste of gas and time and will cost me more then $40. so if the blm isn't there saturday then what? a $40 vender week pass. what a pain. and I want to pay for a full pass but they sure haven't made it easy. imagine if you didn't have DDR to steer you right and had to be informed by mister mini-wage. I say it is a black eye for the blm even if it was a sucker punch.

i like it tracked up some.... but it was so tore up the trails were hard to follow and a lot of woops. still found places to play and had a great time. was cool to not have all the sharp razors. top of comp was like a roller. we a talking about a trip next weekend maybe a overnight trip on the 8th

we all had different plans last weekend but managed a day trip out today. was great weather sand was sh*t need a good breeze to clean the dunes. get wore out fast riding in that chop. there were 5 of us. wasn't the best trip to the sand but we all needed a fix and had a great time no injuries or break downs. left at sunset took some video and a few pics. also there was a film crew setting up a carrousel they had a few rigs and looked to be still setting up for something. camp ground had about 12 rigs other then the venders, hosts and film trucks when we left.

i would love to make that trip. i rode 3 wheelers up at sand lake oregon in the late 80s. nice to watch the sun set.

if the plane cannot move forward without the conveyer moving back at the same speed how is the plane going to get air speed? you all keep saying that air speed has nothing to do with the wheels but un tell it is moving forward fast enough to leave the ground it is ground speed. once it has moved forward against the air and the wheels leave the ground then it is air speed. if it is a calm day and you start the plane while on the conveyer as you power the prop up and start getting forward thrust the belt starts moving in reverse canceling out forward motion soon you would be at full throttle and the belt would be moving backward still canceling forward motion. so there you would sit in the same place full throttle with the only air moving across the wings from the prop wash!

no its wont its not the speed of the planes wheels it is air speed that lets a plane take off. the air moving over/under the wings causes lift. if the speed of the conveyor matches speed of the planes wheels its not moving forward and there is no air is moving around the wings=no lift=no takeoff

i posted about this last year when there seemed to be a lot of missing runaway dog at the dunes. IS YOUR DOG ID CHIPPED? it is a cheap easy way to get your dog back if it is lost or stolen. im not sure what it costs now it was $10 for my last dog years ago. but if your dog gets loose at the dunes and someone finds it the dog could end up anywhere in the SW U.S. almost all pounds and vets will scan for a ID chip. and as long as you keep your info updated it could be a easy phone call to return your dog. cheap insurance for a part of the family!

speed limit signs around the area would help. there were many people that saw the crowds and needed to show off leaving a big cloud of dust. kind of like a no wake zone for dust. if it went to a walking only area maybe 3 parking areas would be better each end and center. as for land marks there were so many lights and blow up things on peoples haulers i didnt have any problem finding my way around i liked the the new spot

that was me! no problem i seemed to have the part or tool for several projects that day. always makes me laugh that the smallest hauler has what was needed. good trip the new hauler was great even loaded with 3 quads, firewood, the gene, fuel fuel fuel, and spare tires, (too bad i didnt get much water in the tank) the titan still pulled potsi at 50 or better.

yes looking at receipt i paid $25 sorry about the misinformation i got the pass and the sticker paid with a credit card and didnt pay to much attention about it ............ this is nothing to the fuel bill or the food and drink tab! if i was to b*tch about any dune expence the once yearly ones dont make the top 5 list

i picked up my pass at nevada offroad in vegas yesterday. they also have 08 cali nonres stickers

what about all the weight on the back 1/3 of the hauler. wouldnt think i would tow very well. rail +2 quads comes in at 2000+ pounds
