Dune trash

[fishlips]

I see there is now a trampoline at the "Veterans hill". I like the swing set,but is it going to turn into a junk pile like the north pole?

[ntrsandman]

Should have seen the messes some left after Halloween.  Not just in the normal camping areas.  Lots of inconsiderate slobs in the dunes as well.     We pack more out, but damn,  some people somehow leave more than they brought!

I was going to take my Sawzall out there and cut up that Trampoline tubing.....  I could use it for welding pactice...

Didn't get around to it though🙃

It is getting a bit ridiculous. I like the swingset and the north/ south poles, but I have no idea why they have become a trash collection. Even the memorials don't belong there (ie: N.Pole). We have a Memorial Hill designated specifically for things like that. The shoes, old parts and riding gear, etc on the north pole need to go. I say we take a vote and clean it up on Cleanup weekend in addition to the janky ass trampoline that is probably going to fall apart out there.

Destination points should be simple and clean, I have never been a fan of the shoes and other random stuff/junk that gets added as time goes on.

I vote to clean it up and remove all that sh*% hanging on the North and South Pole

So there have been a few posts on our FB page today about the trampoline trash. Looks like it's almost cleaned up. Hopefully someone else can get rid of the rest. Thank you Jon Ford.

My sentiments exactly! We all need to clean this crap up and don’t let it gather again. Stuff like this is what gives  the environmental freaks ammo to shut our riding areas down. If we don’t police it, it’ll be policed for us.

Very good point!
