  1. Over MLK Weekend, little Keven was spooked by fireworks and ended up running off and getting lost. Her owners looked all over for her with no luck. Word quickly spread on social media and the forums, but she was still nowhere to be found. The following weekend, DDR members who were headed out kept an eye out for her hoping she would show up. There was no sign of her though. Two weeks later, a couple duners were pulling into Dumont and spotted a little white dog on the side of the road. It was her! She was frightened and wouldn't even come towards them when they tossed treats to her. She began running towards the highway but they managed to steer her towards the camps. She ran up to one of the first camps at the top of the hill and hid under their trailer. When everyone found out it was the little white Poodle/ Maltese mix dog that went missing two weeks earlier, they were all shocked. She was skin and bones and had to be starving. It's a miracle she was able to endure the freezing temperatures and predatory coyotes. They called the owner and took good care of little Keven until she was able to drive out and pick her up. It's always good to hear outcomes like this. It's proof you should never give up! Congrats to Yessica on finding her little fur baby.

  2. Been to Glamis a handful of times, hit up Superstition Mountain, Ocotillo Wells, and most recently this past weekend we launched from over at Bessimer Mine in Johnson Valley and rode up Rattlesnake Canyon to the Old Rose Mine up in the San Bernardino National Forest. We were supposed to go to Tip Top Mountain for lunch but at the mine the snow was already a foot plus deep and some of the RZRs were getting high centered so with another 1100ft or so of elevation to the top we decided it was better to eat in place then turn around and play in the shallower snow. First time I had the RZR in snow and I must say it won't be the last. Good times for sure. Chomping at the bit for the clean-up weekend to get here so I can come do some shredding up at Dumont. See y'alll there!

  3. This one is good for those hotter trips, you know the ones early October and you just can't stand to not go anymore or late in the season, but you just don't quite want to give up yet.... but don't really want a hot meal or to cook. I would make this one ahead of time, night before. Its quick and simple. Thaw the shrimp, under running water and drain. Cook the pasta as the package instructs. Puree half of the Bruschetta. As soon as the pasta cools, add all of the ingredients together, including the remaining Bruschetta. Chill at least one hour before serving. I added left over lightly grilled with olive oil asparagus from the night before and one med. diced bell pepper as well.. so again you can play with this one by adding stuff I served it with a banana/melon mix and it complimented it nicely

  4. I tore the bread up the night before and precooked the sausage ahead of time. Morning prep time was 5 mins. You can make this super healthy by using whole wheat french bread, egg beaters and low fat cheese and milk. Also you could dress it up buy adding veggies such as asparagus, bell peppers, onions, etc. The littlens gave it a 1 loaf french bread, torn into pieces. 6 eggs 1/4 cup milk 1 package spicy Italian chicken sausage (I used Fresh and Easy Fiesta Chicken sausage), removed from casing and cooked. 8oz Monterey Jack, shredded Spices to your taste Preheat oven to 350. Spray pan with cooking spray. Placed the bread pieces in the pan. Beat eggs, milk and spices. Pour over the bread. Add remaining ingredients. Kick back and enjoy a cup of coffee while baking for 25 mintues, until top is a golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes and dig in! Like this
