  2. Thanks again Pete for a great day in the dunes. We were only out for Saturday, but we enjoyed some epic runs.

  3. I had to reduce the size so hopefully it's still large enough for you to zoom in on everyone, but here is the group photo we took on Saturday. Thanks again @FE135 ! 🤟

  4. A big thanks again to everyone who came out for the 6th Annual Buggy Roundup. This trip gets better and better every year and because of you guys. You really make it what it is. It's great getting together with everybody and meeting some new friends. Between the camp fun with flipcup, card games, crazy smudge pots, buggy weigh-ins, campfire shenanigans, UFC, tacos, cars & coffee, and of course the many dune runs where we had a train of buggies that stretched two miles long from camp to the north pole....what an epic weekend! We counted over 50 buggies when we did sandcars and coffee on Saturday morning! By the way, I can't believe we actually pulled that off. That turned out great and we'll have to do that again next year. @bp-guy and John, @dirtflickarooster, got some aerial shots and those shots turned out awesome. The two below are from John. Much more to come. Post up your pics and highlights from the weekend.

  5. Likewise, would have been a cool shot from the dunes. Thank you for all you did. Alpers car needed some color! I had a great time.

  8. Hey, check out Alpers G-out on the big air jump, the inset pic is at the jump apex, head vs headrest.....and the trailing arm angle, almost in coil bind. Sand is still spread even inside the rear wheel.

  9. I didn’t get a single picture. I’ll have to see what my son took. I left my phone in the trailer and didn’t pick it up until we left. The buggy weigh in was fun too. I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only guy in the 3,000 lb. plus club. 3150 for me. Pete I think I figured out why my car was like 25 lbs. heavier on the left rear. The differential oil cooler is on that side.

  10. Thanks for hosting Pete. It was nice to meet you and get to take part. We wound up rolling in late Friday night. It was fun to see so many nice cars Saturday morning and the varying setups. I never made made it to the end of the rides though. Saturday morning we helped get the red mid engine apart after breaking a heim. About 5 minutes after we got going my son threw up, what a mess so we went back to camp. The ride to take a photo was fun. After we got going again from there I wound up stripping out a cv cup when it pulled off the shaft. Trying to figure out why it did that. Thanks to mustache Motorsports and his group for running back to camp and bringing a jack and a spare cup I had in the trailer. I had an awesome time for our first ever roundup and will be looking forward to meeting more people next year.

  11. Alper said he was going to paint his car so I gave it a 3 minute paint job, as an example

  12. And so many nice cars This car has to be new, look at the wheels, don't have the Dumont Dull yet. and color shift paint. No, he isn't asleep but may be praying he doesn't mess up the shine.....

  16. I've had the same issue with aftermarket radiators on my truck. Make sure the rubber mounts on the top and bottom of the radiator are still good and soft (to absorb vibration). Even then, aftermarket radiators may only last that long. A full aluminum construction unit would be your strongest. However if you have to stick with stock replacement, KOYO does pretty well for trucks.
