  1. I'm sure that the CHP saw them drive by, going into Pahrump, then an hour later saw them driving back; right past the officer again. Probably figured that they went for the fireworks. I'll be sure to spend time at one of the casinos and the wal-mart out there before driving back
  2. OH! That's no good! Was that during Thanksgiving weekend or near 4th of july?? hmmmmm....This topic has been bringing up mixed responses???? I'm debating back and forth. As to the rangers enjoying them too, I see that every summer in Pismo Beach, it's like every other camp out there shoots them off with no problems.
  3. Congrats indeed!!!!!!!!! Very Nice!
  4. WoW, pretty serious stuff! I'm gonna have to reconsider my trip out to Pahrump!
  5. Really???? :freakin_nuts: I didn't know that they really stopped anyone there??? I actually never been stopped at that check-point. I wonder what they were looking for in your t.hauler?? Anyhow, sounds like most people don't have any problems bringing them back when it's not around the 4th of July.
  6. Okay so it's about that time now (Thanksgiving) and we'll be making the trip out there! Just to clarify, Pahrump is off the 178 to 372 coming from dumont right?? And the firework shops are easy to find? Also, how close are the Casinos when entering the city of Pahrump??? Been searching for casinos around there online and haven't found much info? Thanks!
  7. Interesting!??? And how about tank dumping and water fill for the haulers?? Any service truck out there? Also, do they rent quads out there??? (Didn't mean to hijack your thread!)
  8. We will be out there by #3. Hopefully that party police courttv special guys aren't out there. Cuz that may mean I may be on t.v. I hope not
  9. Will be out there 21-25th, hope to meet you DDR guys out there!?!
  10. The litter bugs need to be out Unfortunately they always wanna come out like the pests they are
  11. Oh thanks! I'm gonna look into all the boat wax products!
  12. Oh thanks guys! Yeah I was definately wondering since the manufacturer doesn't provide any emergency tire changing tools...other than the tire itself. And my trailer is a 23ft. hauler so I think the wood block trick will work! I always carry large blocks for the stabilizer jacks.
  13. I have a 23 ft. Attitude with smooth side exterior walls and am wondering what you guys use to keep the finish looking new?? I know regular washes work but now I'm starting to get those fine swirl marks. I've also noticed that my stickers are slowly starting to fade. So what kind of sealers do you guys recommend?? I've been doing a lot of online research and found that carnuba wax is old skool (which I use on my trucks). Now I've found that Polymer sealer, applied by hand and cloth, is the new way to go??? Lasts the longest and is the best for gelcoat? Here's a product I've found that claims to last 5 years www.protechpolymer.com (gelcoat rejuvenater). Have any of you used this stuff before?? And does it really work? I'm almost sold on it, but it's dang expensive!! Anyhow, your feedback is greatly appreciated (as my toyhauler eagerly awaits a coating of some sort).
  14. Yeah, gas in Baker is the "just enough" spot, the gas is usually expensive!?!?!?
  15. Definately congrats! When I got my 1rst hauler (last year) I never dreamed that it would be so worth it!! I've been staying in tents for years on end, dealing with them blowing away or floating away (pismo, lol)...isn't it so nice to say that those days are over
  16. Okay, so I have a 23ft. attitude hauler and am wondering about how/where to jack it up from??? If it needs to be hitched to the truck while jacking or not??? Never done it, but in the event I need to I would really like to know? :eatdrink021:
  17. I do agree with the current boundary posts being hard to see...So I highly support the posting of larger boundary markers/signs. And I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that the boundary passers are more likely kids, so by posting up large boundary signs that actually reveal the fine amount for crossing, it may actually deter the kids. An actual cash amount to scare kids from their parents!
  18. I haven't heard much on American Freedom trailers, but I know they're in the Carson price range w/ options too!
  19. Yes, that's why they say a lot of lottery winners even go bankrupt! lol
  20. Wow, yeah...I'm real sorry to hear about this tragic incident. Thanks for helping all you could minor, like everyone says, most people would not even get involved to help.
  21. Yes, definately like everyone's saying...lower the ball a little and/or increase the links on the weight distribution chain. I've had these problems in the past as well while towing my 23 footer. Also, check all the trailer tire pressures, make sure that one of them aren't low.
  22. Whoah!!! :rainbow1: Okay, I'll definately avoid it then!~
  23. ahhh geeze, check points and all :freakin_nuts: thanks for the word!!! They should be chill by halloween or t-day right??
  24. Okay cool! :freakin_nuts: I heard that they're the size of small supermarkets . I will stop by one, the next trip we're there in Dumont! btw, are there any stops on the highway back, similar to the agricultural check point on the 15fwy? Cuz I know California don't really like them fireworks? Also, is the Ind.reserv. out of the way?
