  1. As usual, we were blinded by the everyday skullduggery. We miss the good juicy stuff and are consumed with "Peep Shows" and the like! Dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Thanks for that very enlightening tidbit of information! No $hit Sherlock For those of us that have to work .....but still in some small way still want to help / support the clean-up...where can I buy tickets????????????? Worse yet, I have to drive right past my turn-off to Dumont while driving to Vegas to work the next 3 days!!!!

  7. He had a Dunes trailer, LTZ Quad, I think at the time a half ton truck???? Dude set up camp behind us and proceeded to ride wheelie after wheelie with no helmet on. Rode double with the kid, no helmets. He even went for a ride with us, ran low on fuel and went back to camp. Brought no firewood, no trash bags, did have a chick and a kid with them! Maybe his girlfriend???? We invited them over for diner / fire. The kid went into my trailer and snatched my wallet and started rummaging thru it.
  8. Damn, if I only woulda known that was a bug deflector. I went thru a swarm of bees around the double up opposite of Olds. I screamed like a little girl! Thought for sure I was going to get stung. Luckily, just got pelted a couple of times.
  9. Two weeks ago we saw a group of quad riders wearing "peanut" helmets. Like bicycle helmets. It takes all kinds!
  10. He moved to St Louis due to work and now I think he is going even farther to Florida. St Louis???? That place is boiling in the summer and freezing in the winter. Now Florida, wow I hope he's getting paid well. We met him and his old lady one weekend at Dumont. He was a piece of work. And that kid of their's seemed to like my wallet a little too much!!!
  11. I won't be able to make it. I have to be at CONEXPO in Vegas the 12th thru the 16th. The rest of my family and the group we usually hang with are planning to be there. Maybe I can "sneak" away on Saturday????

  18. We were in F-10 / G-10 on the grid. Really no one around us. There were two rigs right on the bluff about 1/4 mile away?? Great place to camp. No one too close and you can see the dunes really well. We used to stay near Crapper #3. But all you could see was the finger dune. :surrender:
  19. Kids always amaze me. They are way more capable than we give them credit for! BTW...where were you guys camped? :mischevious:
  20. We left around 11:15am. I saw the CHP cruisers as we were headed south on 127, 11:30? Where did you guys camp? :mischevious:
  21. Hopefully they will finish the race in Fontucky sometime this week. Then they can move on to Hendertucky! :mischevious:
  22. What a great weekend. I would like to thank the weather, and FSA for keeping the dunes as empty and as groomed as possible. You could not have asked for better dunes. Pristine!!!! Was anyone actually riding or duning this weekend? If there were I rarely saw them. I have never in my years of duning at Dumont seen the dunes that empty. What a unique weekend. Thank God too, My bike was down and I had to ride the quad. If I ever have to ride a quad primarily, I want the conditions to be exactly the same. We got an early start on Saturday morning. Ended up getting three rides of just over 30 miles each in. Talked about non stop. Wow! Woke up Sunday morning and got another 28 mile ride in before the wind kicked up again. Had to turn the rig into the wind to load up, man it was howling. I did not see anyone from the site. If I did I didn't realize it! :mischevious:
