Should there be a LAW mandating helmets in sandcars? My opinion is no. Shouldnt I have the right to choose? Who am I hurting other than myself if I CHOOSE not to wear a helmet in my sandcar? And if there is a law saying I need to wear a helmet in my sandrail, Shouldnt there be a law stating I need to wear a Helmet in my duramax when Im going over to comp at night? If my duramax rolls over, that roof is collapsing and killing me. Whats next, when we turn onto the dirtroad leaving the asphalt, We all are under a helemt law?

I got roosted this weekend the same way I was on top of the finger dune and a guy on a banshee comming the other way roosted me ON PURPOSE as he went by. By the time I got my car turned around to go RETURN THE FAVOR, I couldnt find him

Why people want to park right up next to the finger dune confuses me. you are choosing to put yourself in harms way. We all head across the flats and over the finger dunes making our way out to the big dunes. Then you come across these people that park there rigs right at the bottom and get mad at people for going past there rigs. If the rigs werent within 50 ft of the fingers, there wouldnt be a problem. There is a huge camping area. Dont park in tempting riding areas!!! just my .02 worth

Don29palms and myself will be there thursday. Don has an antique motorhome and of course the "PURPLE" car. I will have a white duramax and a trailrider toyhauler with a red Nissan flag. I also have a large DDR decal on my toyhauler ramp door.

camping at the little dunes is ok, But the ride over to the big dunes is hell on the paddles. Lots of rocks!!!!!

Yeah put her in Dons car. He doesnt go fast enuff to scare anyone. On the subject of putting kids in sandrails....... I have had a few people ask if I could take there kid in my car. I am very hesitant to do this. First of all because my driving scares most people. Second of all, What happens, if I get in an accident? Either my fault or someone elses fault? I know people are friends and all. But Im sure when there kid gets hurt, Friendship goes out the window. We all have either seen or heard of someone getting hurt in the dunes by some other idiot not paying attention. Jumping blind over a ridge without a spotter, wheeling up the hill thinking they own the hill etc... I personally Do not like to take kids for rides in my car for these reasons. Just my .02 cents worth here.

Ill bring the plates,knives,forks,napkins etc.... also a cookie assortment for an easy dessert.

What is the prognosis for Dan? I have had 6 back surgeries so far and Expecting to have at least 1 more. I am curious to what type of back surgery he has had and what they might need to do in the future. I can tell you, That the back brace he is wearing with the front brace sucks. Very very very uncomfortable.

Better deal, meant getting basically the same car for a better price. Not just cheaper!
