The weather is nice there and I just got back from a 5 day trip, it does get warm form about noon to 3pm then cools off quickly. It is alot dryer this year and the sand is very soft so be ready to air down. Are you going to be in the camp ground or meadows? I may go back up Friday since my trailer is still hooked to my truck and the fridge is full. It was nice and quite until Sat night and a group of kids showed up with sobe bombs, on sunday the rangers were looking for them with a trailer to impound the bikes. I guess they rode through the camp grounds at mach 1 so now they will not be allowed any where in the park. It was funny to see them load up so fast but then they drove past the rangers on the way out, go figure.

Go with at least a 5500 and it will run the a/c no problem, then to make it quiet just add some 1/2 conduit wit a couple of 90`s and it will run as quiet as any other . Or just sit it next to some one else to blok the noise.

Like MTWALET said that is some serious stuff looking in the trash and I can assure you that they are not looking for cans. I work for a bank and fraud is the biggest loss we or any other takes and have had it happen to myself for the tune of 60k so shred your s*h*t or you will be at a loss. If this is a problem just wire a extension cord up on a GFI and that will stop it forever.

I should be back out that weekend as well and drive a lifted red f-250 with ww 21' and there will be a a few large coaches and a few semihomes with twin stackers. I will come over and say hi, I have a large DDR sticker on the ww.

Like dunefreak said it is expensive . 1 for no insurance. 1 for no registration. 1 for being with in a 1000 ft of a residence or public roadway. 1 for operating a ohv on a road way. I have been through this before and it adds up to about 2 grand. They have now cracked down on them in Boulder city as people were driving them on streets there and a group tried to get a law passed but it was denied due to lack of safety equipment or height or something.

I go to both every two weeks and now that it is warm I would say corral unless you bring a ski or boat which is what we do. Corral has alot more trails and more dunes but then with the water you can fish at night and take a swim to cool off. I should be there that weekend as well and will look for you.

I have been there several times as well and late afternoon it is not bad as long as you are in 5th gear but like you said that is why we you have a/c.

What do you mean it is not that hot at nigth? Dumont is still going to be 90 with no sun .LOL. I will still be there though and corral will be in the 80s and 40s at night so it is nice and cool.

This is the weekend to go after melting in Dumont on the 23rd.
