if you ask me, the rangers were both really nice and if anything were being lienient as hell to the illegal sh*t they could have been giving tickets for. they are just doing their job, im glad they showed up. juts my .2cents

capt, i completely agree with you. nobody is looking for a pat on the back. capt,and many others (including myself) shouldn't have had to be the ones to pick up after people that are capable of taking care of themselves. or picking up their own damn trash. my weekend was great, but if you ask me, this is the exact thing that is going to get the dunes closed for good. if we plan on keeping what we have now as a place to have fun and ride, then crap like this should not happen. nice pics btw, saw my father kickin back in one of them haha

I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - I have nothing worth adding to this post!! - x2! when i rode my bike down there the next morning arond 8 i was just disgusted let alone pissed off that people have the nerve to leave a hazardous gas bin and cans etc. all over the dunes. if ignorant people like that ever would like to come back out to the dunes, then you should clean your SH*T up. it wont hurt to make sure we all have clean dunes to ride in! just my and the smoked briscuit(sp) was excelent AL! thanks for feeding us, and nice meeting you

i actually have nothing against PC's whatsoever. i own 3 of them throughout my house. they are great computers and simple to use. only reason i just bought the new macbook pro for college is because:1. needs no virus protection due to there not being viruses made to affect macintosh (not yet at least ) and 2. i cant stand the new version of windows,its inefficient and much harder to navigate with, granted Mac's are not easy for first timers, they take some getting used to. overall, i love my new mac and i love the windows XP, and hate windows Vista its :poop: no hard feelings

they will be missed whether or not they "bent" a rule. i understand the way management works and if the BLM decided it was big enough to let them go then so be it. the big idea is that they did a TON for the up-keep of our dunes! if you ask me rules are meant to be bent, theres always room for rules to be bent.. this is also again, up to the employer or enforcer.

pretty sure they closed it off. last i was out there they blocked the big road with 6 feet of rock and dirt and theres no way around it. they are going to build houses by pabco, got busted by the cops for riding there too. guy was a d*ck. as for apex, idk but i wouldnt think that they would close, theres always people riding out there

well the pastry bricks are my favorite part if you ask me. its like a game in the morning, just wondering if the might have just ONE semi-soft pastry. otherwise just let the bricks sit in the extremely hot coffee and after about an hour its soggy. best of both worlds.. MMmmmmm

i completetly agree. and i know there are different requirements for different classes, i have most everything. im gonna start slow and hopefully work my way up to getting a monster on my a$$, but not too close haha

hi, i have been riding both desert, mud, sand, and pretty much every terrain for about 6 years now on quads. i have always wanted to get into racing whether it be for points or not, i like competition and i would love to meet others who race. i have a 2008 450r with some accessories both in and out. I know about Best In The Desert but that seems to be a big place to start. Theres so much info, im not sure where to start. If anyone races now, or knows about Quad racing either XC, MX, Night Racing etc., id really appreciate any info. Do i need permits? thanks a ton -D45or

i heard the BLM for the Needles/ Dry lake bed area is going to completely close that area of trails AND the dry lake bed to any OHV's. that seems like a far cry, but i would be really pissed of they have the power to do that. just what i heard though, could just be gossip flying around. Just wanted to see if anyone else heard about something similar.
