Thanks for chiming in with more photos and stories of Bert, Lee! Glad to see you check in from time to time. That's what I had in mind too.

I was thinking that we need to do a group trip for Bert once next season begins. I think it would cool to get something nice made up and put it up on the memorial hill. In addition, we could do a memorial ride as well. I think Ashley was talking about going out for Halloween because that was the kids favorite weekend. We'll figure that part out later, but in the meantime does anyone know who could make up something nice for Bert that we could put out at Dumont on the memorial hill?

Since we don't get any official trip report from your St A's trip, how did the car do? I forgot to ask you.

I'd like to thank everyone who donated to Bert's family. While money can never replace a person like Bert, at least it helps cover some of the family's expenses and is one less burden for Ashley. http://www.gofundme.com/bert-coe-family Just a reminder that Bert's services are this Saturday. I know there will be quite a large group of DDR people there. Maybe everyone should wear their Regatta shirts. Bert wore his event staff shirt everywhere. Bert Coe services: Saturday June 14th Viewing at 9am-10:30, services at 11AM - Chapel at 400 S Water St., Henderson, NV Laid to rest and with short grave side service at Palm Mortuary to follow. 800 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV

It was an amazing turnout last night in honor of Bert. Thank you all for coming out, sharing some old stories, and doing milk shots. That was classic! I'm pretty sure Bert heard us loud and clear when we all yelled BERRRRRRRRRRT one last time. There was ton of love in that place last night and it reminded me how much we all need to get together on a regular basis like the old days. There was a handful of friends who, unfortunately, could not make it but like Bert, were there in spirit. I was really happy to see that Ashley was able to make an appearance. The look on her face brought tears to my eyes. Bert loved his friends and family and I could just picture that big ole smile on his face had he walked through that door to see us there for him. Cheers buddy. It's not going to be the same without you, but we'll sure as heck keep your traditions and spirit alive.

Let's meet up at 6:30 at PT's on Horizon Ridge near Horizon in Henderson. Everyone is invited to come share stories about Bert and talk about the good times. Let's do a shot of ice cold milk in Bert's honor. Maybe even order a zookie.

^^ July DPOM it is, per Bert's request. He always flew the American flag on every one of his rides. I liked that. He was a great, patriotic guy.
