  1. I usually burn about 20-25 gallons of race fuel in my turbo Honda. That's usually about 2-3 hard runs each day for 3 days. E85 burns more and Subie's tend to use a little more because you are running them higher rpm. I would bring about 30 gallons for 3 days. That seems like more than enough unless you plan to dune for 12 hours a day.
  2. Just a reminder... A rating: smooth, little to no washboard, recently graded, able to do the 25 mph speed limit without rattling your rig to death B rating: slight washboard in some areas, able to do 15-25 mph but having to slow down for some rough areas C rating: rough and washboarded most or all of the way, but no potholes, less than 15 mph D rating: potholes, bad washboard, less than 10 mph F rating: crap, need we say more? ok fine...huge potholes, washboard, even full of whoops at times, you know how bad it can get UPDATE: A rating. The entrance road as of Sunday was already graded and very smooth. You can easily do the speed limit without losing your fillings.
  3. Ahh, broke the first rule about the DDR south pole. LOL That's ok, we've been giving it away for years.
  4. Tony you're being a little dramatic. lol 18 mph is not even a gust for Dumont. That happens almost every day out there. We saw quite a bit more than that last weekend at times.
  5. It's the south pole. It's usually Saturday at 2PM on holiday weekends. I haven't posted one up since I won't be there. Someone should though!
  6. MTC (Motorcycle Tire Center) on Eastern/ Fremont. I know the owners. Great guys.
  7. lol you're taking my post a bit too literal And it has nothing to do with a vote. I'm just saying most people said they'll be doing it Sat night instead. It's not like the poll officially dictates anything anyways.
  8. Great job! Can't wait to see some pics of it tearing it up in the sand.
  9. I think alot of people will probably tell you to "come back tomorrow night!" lol
  10. Looks like Saturday is the day according to this poll and everyone's responses on FB as well.
  11. Update: brought it in to Johnny Walker's and they patched it up. Hopefully it holds for a while.
  12. Hey Mike that pic is a bit too small and is copyright protected. We can't legally use it.
  13. Scott is the man. I can't think of anyone else but there's gotta be someone out there.
  14. Right on Pat. Congrats on the sale. I'm sure that Arctic Cat will keep you happy for a while. Like you said, it dunes pretty much like a rail.
  15. Yep, I'll be out there with my group, Tony. Feel free to stop by camp and say hi and get in on some rides. We'll be parked at B/7 on the grid map. Gonna be a warm one out there, but I don't care. Looking forward to it.
  16. Right on Craig looks good. Congrats. Now just be sure to keep that helmet on! haha
  17. I strap mine together in order to fit in my hauler. I hook a heavy duty strap from each lower heim (ball) joint. Sorry I have no pics.
  18. You're turbo vanes are likely sticking caused by soot accumulation/ buildup. It is a common issue that usually only happens when towing.
  19. Agreed. Superstrap and microstart. Both are must haves.
