  1. I know you have registered Pat. Thank you. Thanks Mark. For the record too, if you are registering only yourself but have say 5 friends coming along just for the show and to hang out, please don't forget to also select and purchase the FREE spectator package and adjust the quantity to 5. We need to account for EVERYBODY that is coming whether they are participating or not. I can't stress that enough.
  2. so back on topic. Who else is making it out? I know there are a handleful of people going for sure that haven't rsvp'd even as spectators. This year everyone must rsvp or register thru the store link, again even if you are a spectator which is free. Thanks guys. Oh and one more thing, H Town Performance has stepped up as a sponsor to help out this year.
  3. ALSO needed: If anyone has any hay bails or items that will help construct the 2nd annual regatta track, either bring them out or get them to me or Cole. We're really gonna try to spice the track up this year with some extra stuff. :atc: Those 70 atc tires worked great last year!
  4. Thanks, I will try that. It already is priced more than fair. 2300 bucks and it comes with an extra complete set of tires. I have had very good luck with CL so that's why I'm sticking with them for now. Like monkie said, we'll be buying new Raptor 700's eventually so this is just the first step. We just bought a new rail so there will be plenty of trips to come where we won't even wanna get out of the sandrail. We love riding though, so quads are in no way out of the picture for us.
  5. I have my Raptor on Craigslist & it has been flagged by someone & removed like 3 or 4 times now. Someone needs their a$$ beat! It doesn't violate any freakin rules either.
  6. Sweet 70's! Welcome to the site and no worries about the link. So are ya planning on coming out to the 2nd annual 70cc regatta at Dumont?
  7. thanks again Nick. We knew at around noon that we weren't driving anywhere that day or night. LOL
  8. how does your senior va JJ prevent you from participating with the rest of us? so I guess NO would be your answer.
  9. Please rsvp through the link I posted, Jill.hat is how we are tracking how many peeps to account for. It's free to spectate unless you can help towards our costs. Right on Andy. Glad you guys are all making it out! We need everyone to click and register or rsvp through the link though. That gaurantees you a participant wristband and t-shirt. Welcome to the site, Matt! Thanks for signing up and registering for the regatta Looks like you guys will fit right in. Nice azz 70's
  10. THAT'S AWESOME NEWS! yiah I bet it feels great for him to be close to home now and moving forward with recovery. Hellz yeah Chris. Do it brother! You got that chit mmmmANg.
  11. yes, it's $35 to register and they give you a santa suit package
  12. Let's not go overboard now, Heather.
  13. I'm not sure how many showed up, but it was alot. We didn't break the record this year by any means, but it's always fun to go out and do the run with everyone else. Anna couldn't go this year since she had a function at work to be at, but I still went and did it with some friends. WOO, my legs are still hurtin. It was great though. I ran the entire thing without ever slowing down or stopping. 5K! drunken santas who didn't apparently run. right after I finished.... Then off to the yardhouse we went Then we made it an all day bender out of it and went to Cadillac ranch. :drunk2: :xmas8: I think we were the last ones at the bar in santa suits. We started getting some funny looks when it started getting dark outside. The rest of the night was kind of a blur. :no_no:
  14. Ok people, let's do this! The 2nd annual 70cc regatta will be Saturday, January 30th, 2010. Please rsvp through the link above and also post up in this thread if you will be attending this year's 70cc regatta. Since this year's regatta will be even bigger and better, we are required to get a special event permit and insurance so we'll need to cover those costs. Participant registration is $25 per person which includes an event t-shirt, regatta sticker, and an event wristband. This allows you to partake in all the fun with your 70. Spectators are free, but you still must rsvp thru the link above. If you would like to help donate towards the event costs, please select supporting spectator when checking out. Sponsor packages are also availabe. More info thru the link. The Sandcrazd event t-shirts are available through internet PRE-ORDER only so get yours ordered now if you would like one. Racin Dirty is planning on making up additional 2nd annual regatta swag and will be vending AT the event so we can all look forward to that this year. And of course the famous Smokin Al's BBQ will be attending again this year and serving up some of his really good grub for lunch. We'll probably just sell meal tickets the day of the event for that to cover his costs. DEADLINE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION IS 1/15/2010 (this gaurantees you an event t-shirt) Last year's was an absolute blast and this year's will be even better! We look forward to seeing everyone from last year and then some! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. There will be even more info posted up as we get closer to the event. Some of this year's event will be broken down into 3 classes. That way more participants have a stab at a trophy. :atc: class breakdown stock class: stock 70cc bore modified class: up to 88cc unlimited class: over 88cc tentative schedule of events Friday 1/29/2010 (all day) Track setup practice runs test & tune Saturday 1/30/2010 morning 8AM -9AM: registration, briefing of rules, pickup t-shirts & wristbands -practice, mess around, test & tune track rides -the “best of 3” lap time contest, split into 3 classes -a group ride with all the 70's over to Sandcrazd at vendor row for a photo op afternoon -lunch by Smokin Al's BBQ -straight line drag races at small drag strip track in camp, split into 3 classes -group track race main event, all classes racing together for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winner -show & shine event: vote on cleanest most factory-correct, most unique, and ugliest 70. -trophies, awards ceremony, raffle with additional prizes! Right at the end of the first finger dune. It is hard packed there and ok for motorhomes so nobody should have to worry about getting stuck.
  15. I already talked with Cole about it. Instead of trophies, I think he's just gonna make a big funky sign for the regatta using ideas like he's talking about. Yes, I have the trophies covered.
  16. Too much embarrassment? Not even close. How do you figure I was embarrassed or "quit talking to you"? I thought the thread was pretty funny. Besides, I have never even met you other than online so how could I quit talking to you? You come up with some whacked out sh*t from time to time....like the last pm you sent me. I actually wrote you back but never got a response.
  17. Badass, Tyler! Congrats. See you at the 70 regatta this year?
  18. NNNO I was saying the long exposure made your left leg look funny, like half is not there.
  19. Nick & I saw Chris on Thurs night. He told us about the spinal fluid leakage issue and that was a lil set back. Glad to hear the headaches are getting better though! We were gonna go visit him last night but he said he had a tough day and a rough night. Hopefully he feels better today and this weekend he improves so he can at least be transported down to his hood. That would be awesome.
  20. ahhh, I love watching those. Good times. Thanks for posting them.
  21. ok I finally have a minute to put some pics up.... chillen after our first ride on Saturday... check out grimace in this pic chillen & bs'in when I took this pic I didn't even realize it was CHRIS in that hole! zoomed & cropped... nice mid-eng car at comp...
