Steve @ Sandcrazd called me about an hour ago. He just left there today and also mentioned that flight for life showed up for another accident (not related to this one).
As for the fatality, he saw lights up at the top of one of the hills on the back side of comp (camp side). He noticed them as he was leaving Dumont to go into Baker late after midnight (about 1 am). He found out the details later from authorities. They said that this happened around midnight and the guy lay dead up there all night until someone found him the next morning about 8am. Apparently he suffered severe head trauma when his sidexside (Ranger or RZR?) overturned when he tried cresting a razor up there. No word if he was or wasn't wearing belts. He was not wearing 5 point harnesses though. He did mention that. BE CAREFULL PEOPLE and never...never ride alone!
I do wonder IF it was a RZR that the cage may have had anything to do with it. Those cages don't look like there is enough head room for a bad accident.
Regardless...very sad.
It also helps to keep a small light on near your stuff. You'd be suprised how many thieves will stay away when toys are lit up. I leave my amber porch light on all night (and weekend )
Barrett Jackson was badass! We managed to make it there last night for a while. Good times and LOTS and LOTS of badasss stuff.
I took lots of pics...

Horrible news. Not a good way to start the season. Reason #1 to ALWAYS wear and use saftey equipent. They save lives.
rest in peace, fellow duner
Here's the name in case anyone was concerned...
Ok, I'm guilty of it too, BUT....
It's crazy how many people are always on here over the weekends but just don't have anything to say. Are you guys just too burned out from the work week to even wanna post anything or what? I know I kinda am...except for this thread I guess. :clown:
Thank you guys very much!
If anyone else can get some of these flyers out we sure could use the help. E-mail me or pm me an address and I will get a stack mailed out to you asap!
It's coming up pretty soon so let's get the rest of these out there. I think I still have about 400-500 flyers left from the 1000 that were made. :ah:
Have you done your own services? Because thats the only way you'd be able to see it on there. It's on the inside of the filter around the threads. Otherwise if your's is missing, Berrrrrt probably has one for you.
no kidding. I just found out last night from Walker. Nice of the parts dept to actually let the dealership know about it huh?
Look for my old 79 Chevy p/u...or just call or text me. :kissass:
