haha, thanks Chris. BUY ONE! I might have to do an early AM run if I can get another rail out there with me. I always have to have a backup just in case I break down. Ya never know with rails. Maybe FYLIN RYAN will wanna test out his new front tires again. hmmm

WTF, Charlie!!! :breakdance: :breakdance:

Cole you need a big azz clown head on the roof. It will be an ice cream selling technique. Besides, it will piss off wingnut even more because he hates clowns! :breakdance: :breakdance:
-
yyyeah right! It was the drifting eyeball that caused the accident! :breakdance: Let me see if I get my vehicle situation figured out within the next couple days and then you can use the GMC.

Cole...your off your rocker. Lookin good. It fits you well. OOF! :angry2:

Memorial weekend at LITTLE SAHARA trip report
dunefreak replied to dunefreak's topic in Little Sahara Sand Dunes
:breakdance: Good times, Richie. Don't forget fuggin grannyfights.com, dirtygranny.com, grannysn*tch.com ....jesus...whats wrong with us! ok ok, Anna deserves all the credit for coming up with most of it ..then I fuggin stole her thunder by yelling over her about the same exact chit she said like usual when I'm drunk. :chug: Oh here's another observation...."what are we best friends now????" Those dudes were packing up a bag to hang out w/ us all friggen night! wtf!? Thanks for the good laughes. Hell yeah Becky. Thanks again for showing us around. We had an absolute blast. You sure can drive that RZR! :breakdance: Ryan (predu) almost destroyed his chit (and almost killed us at the same time! lol) trying to keep up! -

yep...all ridable. Those dunes go forever! I wish I had more time to ride em all. :breakdance: :breakdance: Temps were in the ~60's during the day. I wore a t-shirt all day until the sun went down. Nighttime wasn't even that cold either. :angry2: -
anyone know about lost boy memorial weekend?
dunefreak replied to sportco8's topic in Dumont Happenings
I hope he was ok! Anyone?? -
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all the compliments. I was very hesitant to go so different at first. I am usually a very simple kinda guy and usually don't go too crazy with colors and stuff, but when I started to really think about the satin black frame, then the metallic bright azz gren up against it...I had to do it. Bert and KensColors kinda gave me the nudge to do it too. They helped me re-enforce my desicion whether it would look bitchen. Thanks guys. Thanks Brice. I can't really tell yet. I know for a fact that when you pick up on the front end it is definielty heavier than before. That is a good thing though. It's SOLID! :bar: I didn't dune it to much up at LS. I mostly hit some trails and climbed some hills so it was hard to tell if it was any more rigid feeling. I'm sure after one good azz run with the usual crew at Dumont I'll tell a difference. LS had very steep hills, wet, soft sand, much higher elevation, and different dunes than Dumont so it's hard to really tell if it will feel any different until I bring her out to D. Haha. As soon as I thought about when it was going to be finished I immediatly started to make tenative plans for Little Sahara. :angry2: It worked out well. Richie, Mike, Jodi, Ryan, etc and group were already up there so we had a group to park, party, and dune with. I'm really glad it was done this weekend. Little Sahara kicked a$$. I have been extremely excited about checking out new dunes lately. This has been a great year. Squeezed in a bunch of Dumont trips, then GLAMIS, now LITTLE SAHARA! :moon: Oh yeah....and I also didn't ask to borrow the trailer again because the car wouldn't have fit. Last time we had to take off a tire to squeeze it in there. We made it work though. Heck yah...maybe Thursday. Cruise over and have a few beers with us. I also foresee some driveway drinkin this TT like ISBB said. I was thinking about it. I already talked to painterjoe about maybe doing some stuff. We'll see. For now I like it simple and clean. I think some Monster Energy graphics would be cool. I could call it the mini MONSTER. :breakdance:

I'll be doing another hat order up soon (this summer). I'll let everyone know when I do. Thanks for the support, maxdout! Sport that chit well.
-
The only time it's any issue is at very slow speeds in tight areas of camp. And that's only because it is a live axle (no diff). No tire in the world would make a difference at that point. It dunes great though and turns awesome.

ok here come the pics heading south from SLC to Little Sahara... Utah Lake & snow-filled mtns in the back small town, Eureka, in the mountains on the way. We stopped for ice and firewood. There were some really cool old buildings from WAY back... gettin closer...come onnnn! Mike & Becky arrived to meet us at the entrance RIGHT when we did. Perfect timing. Pulling into Sand Mountain camp area. "There it is!" More to come. (Those are just the "driving there" pics. -
I just set the DVR to record it.
-
hahaaa thats funny chit right there. I was expecting to come up on you guys or see you somewhere on the way home. We were just a ways ahead of you cause I think we were about 45 mins to an hour ahead of sandchick and malibu.

Memorial weekend at LITTLE SAHARA trip report

Hell yeah Mike. I was amazed how well Becky was tearin it up with the RZR Sat night. Good times! Hope your hand gets better. It could have been way worse. You could have lost some fingers. Oh yeah and when we had a dead battery w/ the Rhino and you guys were looking for us.... :shout: "HEY F*KFACE....OVER HERE!!!" That was funny chit. Nope. That sign in the pic was after the small one we almost blew right by. -
No...not bring it to Havasu! And no more HOLES in the side panels nice new bright green Mutha Bitchezz smiley right there. Thanks man. I love the lights too. They match the car perfect! I think need to upgrade my stator though. This car has a new radiator that uses TWO fans now so the charging system can barely run the low beams, tailight, and fans. Add two more lights to that and it really runs down the batt voltage. I'm gonna look into doing a stator upgrade and then an Odyssey battery. That should do it.

Not yet. It can always be added later. I'd like to get one eventually. Tell me about it. Not anymore. This is it dammit!!!! Fuggin EMO. Halloween is a no go for me in 08. I have different plans next season. Halloween has been bad luck every year for the past couple years. I am doing kickoff weekend at D, then a trip to G the week before Halloween this year. New car...new traditions.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! And thanks for the extra pics, Jodi. Glad I was able to squeeze a ride in for ya. I was about to load up and said wait a sec. Jodi NEEDS a ride before we leave otherwise I will never hear the end of it. Good times. Yeah I thought long and hard about the black. Black shows alot of blemishes very easily so I was hesitant to do it, but the satin is perfect. It won't show too much sand blast and is also pretty easy to touch up. Thanks, I love it. Looking forward to finally meeting up for soem runs now that I have my car back.

Holy crap. That place rocks!!! On the way back from picking up the rail in SLC, Anna and I hit up Little Sahara. That place is badass! It's got a bunch of everything, trails, hillclimbs, nice flowing dunes, ect ect. We met up with some peeps from "the other site". Serioulsy though, 50cal, Malibu & sandchick, Predu, dirtprincess, and a handfull of many other great peeps welcomed us into their camp. We had a great weekend hanging out. "Observations" are easiest way to describe a trip so here they go... -Dirprincess showed us around the place and was the Little Sahara tour guide. thank you Becky. You're awesome. -late night sideXside runs! holy crap! We did stuff that Rhinos should NOT do. Good driving there, Predu...until you rolled it! We were coming down a hill with the front diff locked and the wheel just yanked out of his hand and we drove right up the side of an embankment and rolled it. Good times. -Sand Mountain is steep! Good azz view from up there. -Ronnie (sorry, forgot the screen name)- awesome carne asada and some badass runs we got to go on with the quads. We gotta hook up again for sure. -grannyfights.com...dammit- it's already taken! Richie will understand. -fatty patty -gang bang at the cowboy camp...WTF!??? -50 cal took my idea the 1st night and fuggin tagged my hauler with a DD.com sticker. So....Anna and I got him back GOOD. We plastered DDR stickers all over his chit. He'll be finding DDR stcikers for a while on his rides. -GOOD duning in the back behind Sand Mountain! -we (anna, me, and 50cal) wandered around drunk Sat night from camp to camp saying hi to peeps. Some cool, but others got way freaked out. wtf? -some of the dumbest riders I have ever seen are at Sand Mtn. It's like NOBODY wears helmets or knows how to ride. I saw the helicopter and ambulances all weekend. -if it doesn't start...unplug it and plug it back in! My GM expertise came in handy on Richies car. -sand was soft and moist as hell- very power robbing -sunset hill is pretty cool but hard to get a spot at sunset. Damn hill is so steep you can't even stay put on the face of it. Many more to come. Thats all I have for now. I'll post some pics up. I have alot! Thanks to each and every one of the cool peeps we camped with this last weekend. I never once felt out of place or uninvited. I plan on doing at least one trip a year up there now. That place rocks. yeah I know...I'm a jackass many more to come

Thanks John. I asked Larry what he thought it was worth. He said that frame new with what it currently has (fully tabbed, side panels, floor panels, gas tank straps, rear carrier, radiator, rear trailing arms, and all the mounts) would run about 4-5K. He siad with just the couple bars that are slightly tweeked it is still well worth about 2K. So I will probably be putting it up in the classifieds sometime soon if a friend of mine doesn't want it first. I thought of keeping it too and building another car, but ...ya know.
