We checked out the rv resort a little bit... campground/ rv park ...then hit up a Mexican bar/grill in the neighborhood. :shocked2: good grub then Anna's favorite part of the day. We spotted a Subway mascot guy on the corner and she yelled, "HEY SANDWHICH!!!!" then off the the show... someone give this girl a cheese :afro: or sammich...SOMETHING! more freaks thats hot! a fuggin tramp stamp that SAYS tramp stamp! ok ya ready? pics from Saturday.. cruising the campground on the Grizzly little warm out heading to the show... yeah but the schedules were kinda off so we got there towards end of that show. It didn't seem like we missed much though. It was ok. Yeah actually there were a handful of coachella peeps there. Some had Cruise America RVs other had travel trailers. Yeah it wasn't really in the budget for us either, but we did it anyways. We were committed after we pulled the trigger on the 600 dollar tickets. We don't regret it one bit though. It was awesome.

Anna and I spent 4 days down at Coachella. It was great. The shows and bands were kickass, the people-watching was non-stop because of so many freaks, and it was flat out an awesome time. Some of my favorite bands to see were Roger Waters, Slightly Stoopid, Jack Johnson, Portishead, Raconteurs, & Gogol Bordelo. Serj Tankian sucked. Prince also played the main stage. We watched that for about 2 songs and were over that. We towed the hauler down there and stayed at Indian Wells RV resort. Hotels were going for $400+ a night and that was for a chithole. So we figured even with the added expense of fuel we saved a ton of cash. Here are some pics... driving down our home for the weekend... even had cable TV :dance: oh and we also had a stripper pole in our camp spot too we ganked a Weezer sign from the side of the road going into the show. While Slightly Stoopid were on I noticed the time....kind of ironic wouldn't ya say? :smoking: :fro_smokin: a lot more pics to come....

...or you can check for a lean condition by blocking the airflow to the carb by putting your hand over the top. If the idle starts to climb then you know you have a lean condition and possibly a vacuum leak.

I have a 94 YZ250 as well. I have the head slightly milled, Weisco piston, stock bore size, and I think I still have Boyensen (sp?) reeds- I cant remember. For Dumont I have mine jetted at 410 or 420. Ever since I ran that jetting I haven't had any top end issues. My bike came with a 330 and I burned up about 3 top ends before I realized how much fuel you need for duning with a 2 stroke.

We just got back last night at 8:30. Jeez! Give me a day or so to recover! :beer_bang: I'll post up some pics tonight. Its gonna take a while. I took a few hundred pics along with some video clips too. :beer_bang:

Talk w/ bp-guy. He runs that motor in his car and it makes plenty of power. Just don't let it go low on oil. Other than that, he is very happy with it.

There's a number of things it could be, but the most probable cause is a faulty fuel injector on that cylinder. Even though it is holding fuel pressure, it still may be bad. When is it misfiring? Idle, accelerating under load, cruise, all the time, ??? Without special test equipment, there is no way I can tell you how to test it. You will have to have an injector balance test done on it to see if it is working properly. You still could have other problems such as: -no pulse (signal) to that injector from the PCM. -vacuum leak somewhere near #5 -cracked spark plug -possible worn distributor gear -possibly worn camshaft lobe(s) -or....there is a bulletin for the valve guides causing the valves to bind and stick. Typically, cylinders 3,4,5 or 6 will be the ones to experience this. Usually this happens when towing or on hard acceleration. Make sure you don't have any wire damage at the injector harness/ connector. Unplug it and make sure there are no sign of fuel in there. You can also take the plastic cover off the top of connector and inspect the wiring for breaks. Sometimes the wires in the harness fatigue at the bend and pull inside the insulation. Oh...and get rid of those Bosch plugs. Put some AC Delcos back in there. Hope that helps somewhat.

I doubt the tech made out that well if it was covered under warranty (even extended). That seems like a reasonable bill for 3 injectors on a diesel. Oh and BTW, injectors don't go bad because of plugged fuel filters. They just fail on their own sometimes. Those injectors are probably just as pricey as the D Max ones like ISBB said. Glad you got it all handled, Mike. Just in time for your trip.
