These are some great tips for setting up your bike for the sand. Obviously a paddle tire is needed in the dunes. An 8 cup paddle is still one of the best tires to run on a 450 or larger cc bike at Dumont. Great videos though put together by RM. I've never put too much thought into adjusting the suspension for sand, but I think it would definitely help in the dunes. You want to keep that front end light. I think a steering stabilizer would be another good thing for this list. Still need to get one on the 500 for this season.

That sounds like much less investment than I would be into this.

Got the email today from SSSS. Looks like another side x side show like the past few years. I don't own one of those so it isn't much interest to me. Still looks it would be a fun time and all, but I don't know. I may rather go riding that weekend. We'll see. Anyone else going this year?

So I don't know if it's cool to post any pics, therefore I won't, but I saw and heard this gorgeous car rolled at St Anthony over the last week. Luckily the driver was ok at it was mostly just sheet metal damage, but damn. Idaho sure is claiming some cars lately!

Not at Dumont. It's still summer and we'll over 110° on Labor Day weekend. Don't expect any crowds or vendor row. Halloween is the first big weekend of the season.
