  1. You should love it- big dunes and nice smooth transitions in some parts. Feel free to stop by our camp and say hi, I can give you a "tour" of Dumont. (click here to see where I camp) Don't miss the DDR ride either.
  2. Welcome to DDR! Check out the thread for the DDR ride. --->click here
  3. Bombrider, Josey from SickSandTravel owned and put together my car before he built his own a few years back. SickSandTravel builds very nice cars and fabricates some nice stuff too. They are the only mini-rail builder that I know of other than maybe Sin City Sandrails that are local (Vegas). BTW, "Short" is Larry's last name that builds ShortSandCars. Those cars are my favorite, but I would not rule out other builders. I love my car. It handles awesome and takes jumps and whatever you can throw at it with much ease.
  4. Jim Beam is my favorite. I also like Jack Daniels & Crown, but just about any whiskey will do for me. Although I don't sip it, I do love it chilled. That is the only way to drink it, other than fast!

Nah, too transparent. Steve found a 9x12 ft tarp today that should work good though. Can't wait fo rthe late-night movies/ festivities! :headbang: :headbang:
  6. Tony, I don't think he's serious. He isn't gettin a new bike!
  7. Welcome to DDR. Come meet up with the rest of us on the DDR ride. We can even go for other rides too. I'm sure the tres hermanos (Don29Palms, Joeduner, & originalpimp), ynot, and some other buggy guys will be going on some additional buggy runs. You are more than welcome to join in. Just look for the big giant multi-colored balloon at our camp and stop by.
  8. Cool, its on then. I like to think I can dune pretty fast in my car. I was right on PaulyPaul's a$$ when he was on his 2 wheeler pushing it FAST! It got a little crazy at some points. I like those kinds of super crazy fast rides, but I leave those rides to weekends where there is nobody out there. Can't wait to go dune with you, ynot, and the rest of the gang. See ya out there.
  9. ynot, its all good. Everybody ready, group hug!
  10. Well RhinoKing bit the bullet and got it. He just rolled up in front of my house w/ his new 38 ft GearBox. I must say- NICE! If I could afford one, I'd buy one in a second. Congrats on the purchase, Kenny. I'm sure you'll love it. I took some pics of it, here they are...
  11. Let me just set the record straight. There is profanity to some point allowed here on DDR. Most of us are all adults and most of us can handle it, but we do need to keep it to a minimum do to the fact that some kids come on DDR and are members too. I know they probably use profanity already, but let's not encourage it. So let's just keep it limited. I am not saying this because anybody here has broken the "rules", but just wanted to let everyone know what DDR is about as far as the profanity and such. Oh and yeah, Chuck, some of the smilies are a little profane, but that is as far as I expect that kind of stuff to go. Don't forget, they are just smilies.
  12. Come on you pansies!!! j/k Ok then, maybe not a dangerously fast buggy run, but how about a "fast paced" buggy run.
  13. I had a few pics of some nasty truck duning wrecks I thought I'd share. Anyone else have some pics? note the 30 day temp tags still on this truck (there were only about 300 miles on it when this happened Good part is everyone was ok and the Samurai from the other thread...
  14. Yeah, I am pretty stoked. I have huge craving to get out and drive my car again. Who's ready for a FAST buggy run?
  15. Click here for more info Saturday, Dec 31st at 2:00PM
  16. I know, Don. I was just kidding. Thought I would just get off topic a little . I agree, the best beer is COLD beer, unless it's that dark crap that tastes like it has been burned in a frying pan.
  17. Miller sucks I drink Bud Select. I agree though, Don. Let's put this forum drama behind us and go duning.
  18. I still love this pic even though the quality sucks...
  19. No prob I figured you probably didn't even know about them. There are a lot of cars on that site that I have seen a bunch at Dumont. All very good pics.
  20. Damn, Joe. That sucks. Doesn't it seem something like that ALWAYS happens right before a big weekend? Good to hear that Don & Tim can help out and you can still make it. B)
  21. I can lead, but not after 10-15 beers!
  22. Yeah it lands really nice, unless I get like over 6 feet of air and flatland it. Then it's a little hard on the a$$. Otherwise, soft as a pillow.
