  8. Your welcome to tag along w/ us if you want. I just have to warn you first, we get a bit loud and stupid at night sometimes. PM me for where we are gonna be camped, when we are leaving, etc.
  9. I think this lastest craze w/ all these 450 kiddie bikes has put the Raptor in less demand. I personally like my Raptor over the 450 more because of the Raptor's weight and size. I think it handles better, but it could be because I am 6ft 2" and I fit better on a Raptor. I myself would love one of those new Raptor 700's. No quad will ever handle and take whoops and jumps like my 2 wheeler though. Many new features caught my eye: FUEL INJECTION for one, new dash light display, led tailight, longer seat, etc. Hell of a nice quad made even better than the previous Raptor.
  10. ooops, I'm sorry. I don't even remember that.
  11. Last night was alot of fun. We almost set Doug's backyard ablaze. I think we all started to think we were at Dumont after a while with that fire! The party definitley got a wee bit crazy. I'll get some pics up soon. Sorry, but some of the pics can't be shown. Thanks to Doug & Kayle for all the good eats
  12. You're just jealous, Dave. Besides, it was at the very end of the night when that pic was taken. That's the only way to end a party night.
  13. Sweet, Dave! I didn't know you had those. Got any more of us?
  14. right, molded. Kings Tire makes it. They have been out for at least a few years.
  15. Gotta work those days. I'll be comin back home on the 1st.
  16. That's right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
  17. The 450 might run ok with a 10 cup, but I still think an 8 would be best on that bike as well. I'm guessing on the 450 though. The 426, however, I speak from experience.
  18. We'll just be gettin started around 10!
  19. Anyone else coming out tonight? Can't wait, myself. Should be a blast.
  20. You are in the right thread, anarchist. Very nice ride. Props to you for being able to all your own fab work. Wish I was able to do mine.
  21. I don't think so, ISBB. SandYFZ used to have a YZ426 and we were almost the same up comp. He'd get me by about a half bike or so sometimes. The 426 DOES have the torque to turn a 10 cup. Hell my 250 will turn a 10 cup and go everywhere, but not as good as an 8 cup. You are right about the 8 cup spinning it more. That is what you want though. Paddles work best when there is tire spin. It keeps you on top of the sand rather than just digging down. Too much wheel spin (for instance if you put a 6 cup paddle on) would hurt it. It's trying to find the right amount of tire spin to get the bike dialed in for bect traction AND floatation on the sand. Tony, I personally think your bike would be slower w/ a 10 cup. Stick w/ the 8.
