You camping w/ the rest of us?

We should be out Sat AM sometime. How many people/rigs you gonna have w/ you? Anybody else from DDR coming out?

Welcome to DDR, ORIGINALPIMP! Sweet car you picked up. Can't wait to check it out next weekend. I'm sure we'll find you guys ok. Your gonna be camped in that spot we picked out on the map right? Somewhere in the middle between the 2 finger dunes, or up against the finger? Lemme know.

Wingnut, I think eceyone is gonna camp in their usual spots on New Years. We'll prob only have a DDR only camp on some off-weekends. You're welcome to camp w/ our group. Get in touch w/ me if you want directions to where we camp.

Ohhh ok. I didn't notice who all was behind us in that crazy wind storm.

Not too bad, but we took that f*cker down about 4-5 oclock on Sat. Didn't wanna chance it. It started dancin around in the wind quite a bit.

Joe I don't think that car was there on the DDR ride. You sure? I don't remember it...?

I posted these on our old forum a while back, but some of you might not have gotten a chance to see em... It was mt buddies friend that went up the far right side of comp when he went to turn around, something snapped and the truck stopped sideways on the hill. Him and his wife then braced and tucked as low down in the truck as possible, then it began to roll. It must have rolled 6-10 times down the hill. Ben (the driver) said he thought it was never gonna stop. The truck had NO CAGE either. Luckily him, his wife, and their dog were ok. Im sure that dog went on a hell of a ride. Luckily they escaped with pretty minor injuries. He banged up his shoulder and she hurt her elbow a bit, but nothing major. We dragged it back to camp and we loaded it up on a friend of their's trailer. Here's the pics I took...(sorry it was at night-not the best pics)

DAAAAAYYUUM! That had to be a wild ride, seeing a rail comin at you to do that that kind of damage! Yep I agree Happyhour, hope that fool learns his lesson. It's one thing to make a mistake, but to run from the scene even after doing such damage! Here's to that effer... BTW, its cool Bob. Saturday was a MESS!! We'll meet-up one of these next few trips!

Right on Don, I know what your car looks like. I'm sure I'll be able to spot it. Just let me know if you get any pics of your's or Joe's m/h or toyhauler. That way we don't miss ya. -Pete

Well it's about time, Dave! Don or Joe, do you have any pics of your motorhome/ toyhauler set-ups so we know exactly what we're lookin for?

Henderson Convention center IS on Water street. I haven't heard of that show though Joe. I though they were were playing the Fiest hotel on Rancho.....? ISBB- the BITD race on the calendar..... I'll try to get a map of the race course. We might camp out at the dry lake bed Fri night with the toyhaulers. I'll check w/ my buddy Vince and let you know where we're gonna be.

Yeah that's cool Joe. You wanna move camp a little farther up towards vendor row so everybody can find you guys easier? Im down to camp w/ you guys that weekend and anybody else that wants to camp together.

Ohhhhhhh ok. Yeah I know you! I remember you from Coral and Dumont too. I'm gonna try and get some more vinyl cut stickers in the next few days. We'll get ya one. PaulyPaul has a big 36" one I gave him for somebody to have. Did anybody use that one? I think JJ might have it. He was gonna put it on his F350, but he's got that big a$$ gotsand one on there. If you don't get that one I gave them, I'll get ya one.
