  1. My trailer is a WW, but isn't a CL4005 by a long shot. The switch in mine is by the light switches near the entrance door. I don't know if that's a common theme with WW. I'm sure somebody else will chime in if this isn't the case with yours.
  2. Dude, I was in your hood today. Shoulda crashed your party...
  3. Dude, that's almost 80! Effe that.
  4. Made me think of this thread... Gonna have to lift it, dude!!
  5. I took a spill last year and it hurt more than it used to. Not sure if additional gear would of helped, but I know that my helmet took one for the team. Kinda easy to see that had I hit in just a little bit of a different angle, a neck support would have been necessary. It took a little to get used to boots, but now I can't ride without them. Otherwise the standard helmet, gloves, goggles. I wear riding pants/shorts and jersey, but they're mostly comfort items. I'm definitely looking into adding some sort of chest/neck protection. Oh, and an elbow brace will be my best friend for the next season or two...
  6. I knew the weather was gonna be good driving back from Vegas on Friday... I hate that I missed this ride! Awesome vid, Pete! Makes me miss all that smooth sand and sharp-a$$ razorbacks...
  7. Took a detour through L.A. on my home from across town yesterday.
  8. Yep. I couldn't use a speedlight on mine though (maybe if I tried it with an amber gel). I had to find a light that most closely resembled the color temp of the streetlight, otherwise I was cooling the temp of the sign down WAY too much. You'll notice that my white balance settings have turned the streetlights white (and cancelled the color pollution on the sky, giving it an accurate blue color you guys in the desert are used to seeing). Here's one with Christmas lights that aren't yellow using the same technique (only moderate editing done to it, since it didn't fit the series I was working on):
  9. I now have a special appreciation on what it takes to light those things, considering that they're reflective.
  10. Thanks Pete. Portraits are my biggest challenge too. That sign was a pain in the a$$. I tried about six different sources of light and different methods of "painting" it with each. I think a maglite was the one that did the trick, but I can't be sure. I seriously need to add more pics to my site, but I have to go through and see who I have model releases from, blah blah blah... Luckily, it's all because I've been too busy shooting!
  11. Sweet pics Pete! I love taking night shots. Here's one: Full size is on my website: http://eddyceballos.com under the "Suburban Nights" tab
  12. Dammit. My wife just reminded me that the 16th is Father's Day. I'm very carefully trying to craft a way to say that my gift should be some time to myself without getting some couch sleeping time... stay tuned...
  13. 6/16 is reserved for Dumont on my calendar now. Can't wait!
  14. I'd be interested. (and this time I vow to have my piece running right)
  15. I need to get a morning run in. Looks like I might go under the knife again soon. Gotta go before the doc finds out I wanna go!
  16. Uhmm, I think visitmexico.com is a site that encourages people to go TO Mexico, not the other way around. http://www.visitmexico.com/en/
  17. Yeah, they still ran all the main events after you left. Had at least six races to shoot. The quad class was a little boring with only three bikes running, so I started getting delusions of buying a sway bar for the 450...
  18. I know Pete got some great shots of this event (up on his site), so I thought I'd throw a couple of mine on here. I will preempt with saying that I was woefully unprepared for this. I was LATE (only hung out with Pedro for about half hour) and my nicer equipment was tied up in a studio. That being said, I NEEDED to get out since I had to miss 95% of the season due to surgery. I learned a bunch (first time shooting any sort of race) and had fun (even though after a couple of hours of hot sun burning my neck I ran inside for a couple cold brews). So I was sitting there with my eye in the viewfinder waiting for the quads to come around this corner and just when I clicked the shutter these two guys happen to come by and give me an epic photobomb. I laughed pretty good when I saw this pic: Have a bunch more to go through, I'll see if there was any decent ones in there. Also stopped by and got some pics of the towers at the solar generating plant they're building out there. Looks like one of them is complete (or pretty close).
  19. Sweet! I'm actually a little jealous...
  20. Looks like I'll be heading out. I'll text you so we can meet up.
  21. Let me check the schedule. I know I have a shoot in the studio on Sat, but I should be able to knock it out. I might just meet you out there. I've been wanting to go.
