  1. Had a Sheriff in a RZR stop by camp on Saturday morning. Super pleasant guy and interaction. BS'd for a minute and took off. Maybe he was checking for passes and infractions, but we never knew it since he was cool about it and we weren't breaking any laws. I should say that it's an officer I've seen out there before and has always been cool.
  2. The sand was smoooooth on Friday. No crowds to rut it up all weekend. Weather was awesome. Moonrise was killer every night. Will upload the few pics I took and post later.
  3. Sounds like I might try real hard to make this one
  4. BUMP! ** Paddles and @duniemonkey not included
  5. Seeing the pictures of the Banshees got me thinking about how different it sounded out there back then. Not as many thumpers
  6. Bought this a while back and it's only made it out once (I used it to cruise around on when my trike wouldn't start at the second regatta). Just added a Uni filter, new grips, and cleaned up the bumpers a bit. I'll be at Dumont on MLK weekend and can bring it with me if needed. All I have is a Bill of Sale for this bike. Looking to get $650 OBO
  7. (golf clap). Well done, sir. Well done.
  8. Click "See my previous picks" in the box where you pick the new ones. 22 for me also.
  9. fri-sun. Have not been out in a LOOOOOONG time
  10. I knew those Hondas were fuel efficient, but DAMN!!
  11. It's probably for the best that you don't know what it's about. And bp-guy... thanks for raising the bar! Not like there's already pressure everyday to come up with something since my daughter sees what all the other effin elves are doing!! That being said, post up pictures! Should be pretty awesome!
  12. In your 80s: Stop what you are doing. Start again. Then stop again. Now you remember you need to go to Home Depot. Go to Wal-Mart instead. You went to school with the old lady greeter. You wander around trying to remember what you are looking for. Then you fart out loud and think someone called your name. Except for the going to school with the greeter, is it bad that this one describes me best??
  13. I don't like speaking for the pres, and he can correct me if I'm out of line, BUT I think he meant that there's already a HUGE amount of toys out this weekend, so even the stupidest thief wouldn't need to make a shopping list (so to speak). As for the OP; I'm sure this was just a his way on how to get to know everybody on here. Not the best way, but certainly not the worst I've seen. IF I'm wrong, and this thread is a thieve's shopping list, then let it be known that my trailer is armed with at least a few of the following: -Raider fan -Rabid (actually just really hyper) Chihuahua -An assortment of firearms that would make Tony Montana proud. -A wife with "unexpected guests" listed as a pet-peeve -A chocolate Lab that will pester you to play fetch until you reconsider your life choices
  14. I might have one too if mineurbiz' doesn't work out.
  15. on the one hand, I can tell you EXACTLY what camera it is and get a free camera... on the other hand, I'd have to claim that those are my pics...
  16. Yeah, I think the carb was close to $300 on its own. Diagnose, labor to install, and tax takes me REAL close to that $500 mark. I've seen a couple of videos on youtube on how to clean them. I don't think this carb is doomed. I'll put it in a box and ship it out REAL cheap if anyone wants to try and revive it. Might not be a bad idea for me to clean it and keep it as a spare if it works (seeing as how expensive new ones are).
  17. Here's what I know: -The generator this came out of is an Onan 4.0 with only about 100 hours on it. -The generator sat for about 4 months and then wouldn't start. Ran fine when stored. -I didn't have time to try and clean this carb before a family trip so I had a new carb installed. -New carb cost me $500 to install!! Here's what I don't know: -If this carb will work as new once cleaned. I'm reasonably sure it's just clogged, but I'm not offering any sort of warranty with it. -If this carb needs to be rebuilt or if it is even possible to rebuild. -What this thing is worth. Prices on used carbs vary widely, so someone make me an offer. Here's a couple pics of the carb exactly as it came out of the genny. I haven't sprayed it with cleaner outside (obviously), or inside.
  18. I might only do a quick run-through on Fri. Wish I had more time.
  19. It has steel sides and it's only 22 feet. I think it's under 5k dry if you look at that spec sheet and zoom in on the bottom. I don't see why your truck couldn't handle it (but don't take my word for it). Those trailers are RARE and a good find if the size and layout work for you.
  20. Sad is my predicament. I think I have the nads to ride this, but not to ask the whiff for the $$$... Gorgeous bike. GLWTS.
  21. There's gonna be 3 billion opinions on this. I looked into it awhile back and the only thing that I'm not sure about in your case is the flat-towed Jeep. If I remember correctly, all axles need working brakes. Of course, CA max 65' length needs to be observed (I'm assuming you're in NV because of the triples endorsement).
