I'm liken it. Is that GSXR 1000 motor? how much did you sell your R1 banshee for?

It's all about horsepower to weight ratio Lets say that a stroker banshee has about 180 HP (generous) and it is in a drag frame; the total weight would be around 230 lbs. The HP to weight ratio would be .78 or (one pound of the bike is being pulled by .78 HP). Now lets say that a quad has a hayabusa motor in it that is putting out 600HP (it's possibly to get 700 HP out of that motor) and its in a custom built frame. My bike weighs 540 lbs., so for sake of argument lets say that the bike weights 550 lbs. The HP to weight ratio would be 1.11 or (one pound of the bike is being pulled by 1.11HP). I'll give you this much, the banshee will win on a short hill. But if the hill is a fairly long one then the banshee is That what I think, what do you guys think.

There are still banshees out their that can beat me easily :black: The 10mils in the drags frames are able to beat me, and obviously anything bigger. The only thing that holds me back from them is the weight of my quad, 540Lbs! But I'll tell you, once you slap a turbo on one of those street bike motors they really wake up. The most HP that anyone has gotten from a Hayabusa motor is 701 HP :angry2: That might be enough to a 24mil in the

Just wandering if anyone of you guys with a street bike motor in a quad will be out at dumont during Dec. 25- Jan. 1 I'll have my raptor that has a 1300 hayabusa motor in it out there during that time. I love racing against bikes that have street bike motors in them, nothing like trowing down on the trottle of a bike that has 150 stock HP :black: :angry2: I get kind of tired of racing the stroker banshees.

If you guys are going to play, what day would you think you would play. What kind of genera do you consider your band. That would be :mog: if you played out their, I would defiantly show up.

I would shoot some starter fluid in there. If the engine fires of for a little then it means that your dealing with a fuel problem, if not the it is an electrical problem. lets see what the other guys say

I’m loven these gas prices! Do you guys think there will be more of a crowed during Thanksgiving and New Years holiday at Dumont than they’re usually is because of the low gas prices.

Are those fuel injected?

If its getting fuel? then is it getting spark?

Av Gas Kicks A@# We run it in my sisters 700 Raptor and In my Raptor that has a 1300 Busa.

READ ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dad and me bought a twist throttle for our raptor 700 from streamline performance and I was very disappointed in the engineering of it ( you would think if we are paying good money for a product it would at least work) . First we bought the throttle from a local ATV parts store in so. Cal and it did not work properly. Then we drove over an hour to where they where located to complain and explain to them why their sh#@ty product was not working properly . They gave us a new one and it still didn’t work! The throttle kept on getting stuck and the return speed of the throttle was terrible. Our Raptor 700 still has a thumb throttle. I would recommend any other company but Streamline performance!

The bike runs great 145 HP at the rear wheel with 90 Lbs. of torque. I have been riding it now for about 2 seasons and I’ve had no problem with it. The guy who built it is Bruce, he has a turbo gsxer 1100 on in a quadzilla frame, and it wicked fast.

Does any one know the dates for when everyone will be at Dumont for thanksgiving this year? I would like to know so I can plan every thing else around it.

He’s right; elevation doesn’t tamper with your quads performance because it's fuel injected. That’s the beauty of Fuel injected motors.

What’s happening to the metal is that it is getting so HOT it is being a heat treating processes. And different metals react differently to certain temperatures of heat, and apparently the metal they use for our aftermarket exhaust systems turn this color at the temperature of what the header is experiencing. So I wouldn’t be too worried about the color, just check the spark plug and make sure there inset any white or grey sh*t on it, just to be sure that the motor isn’t running lean. But if you want to feel safe, run it a little richer.
