New SCU custom build super sized for me
sanddunesaddict replied to sanddunesaddict's topic in Sandrail Talk
The before pics yes but the after pic looks like I might have been trying to get out and was sitting down all the way. I fit really well in Robs car I just needed the pedals further out. the width of my car is 1" more than Robs and I think the roof is the same but the side rail is higher I think. MAN I CANT WAIT!!!!! -

New SCU custom build super sized for me
sanddunesaddict replied to sanddunesaddict's topic in Sandrail Talk
They are 39" inches long and work with my ADS outboard hubs. I thought about it but new ones are too expensive. He is confident he can use them.If it is a problem we can just get shorter axles or cut mine if its only a couple of inches. We will just have to wait and see. It sucks I cant go check progress every couple weeks like other peeps do in So Cal. -
New SCU custom build super sized for me
sanddunesaddict replied to sanddunesaddict's topic in Sandrail Talk
he could have it done in a month and a half but I cant have the money that fast so I told him no rush....he wont let me drag it out too long anyways not that I can wait any longer now!!! He said they will probably be full time on my car end of next month and be able to knock it out then. He also needs to figure out my rear hubs I brought him...he has never used an axle this long and is worried the car will be too wide but he wont know untill he mocks it up. -

:worthless_without_pics: :worthless_without_pics: :worthless_without_pics: :smoker: Im not happy am I??? Don is the man...he started this earlier this week and just went on his instincts as far as size....he hit the nail on the head as I fit perfect. Its just a rough shell as you can tell and no rear cage but you get the picture. The nose will be changed and look like the front of 80GRIT'S car or TCS T's tatum nose. I am sure alot of peeps will get more pics for me as they stop by there to check progress on Deannasaurus's car,my car and the other 2 cars he has going on right now also. Here are the Specs New 1.75 size chassis that looks like a Probro but is super sized for me Buick Grand National 3.8 running 20-25PSI for now Albins 5 speed H-pattern dog box ADS outboard hubs with 6 piston calipers and 934's 4 Beard RX1's 2.5 Howe power rack 2.5 coilovers with 2.5 bypass all 4 corners 4 K/C 8" HID's on roof with 2 5" K/CHID's on A pillar and 2 5" K/C HID's on the nose. 2" hollows with 4 piston Kartek hubs all CNC pedals BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH just the typical sand car that has been a 8 year collection of parts so far!!!

^^^^ In your link about half way down the page it says... Attention RV, Boat & Trailer Owners! You need a Class A or B license to drive vehicles 26,000 pounds or heavier. You also need additional license endorsements to tow multiple trailers or trailers in excess of 10,000 pounds. See License Classes and the Non-Commercial A/B and J/R Study Guides. -

I think John(1320) is the only one that said he had a non-commercial class A??? Hey John.....What exactly did you have to do??? -
^^^^ Exactly what Pete said. Put it in and leave them alone. Look people if a 4600lbs 1200HP car doesnt hurt the grease I doubt any of the little cars can!!!
