I saw that the the city of North Las Vegas Is sponsoring a Hot air ballon festival this weekend at what used to be craig ranch golf course, it's a park now. I don't know if I am going but sounds kinda cool?

Ok time for me to hijack this thread!!!!!!! For yous guys that don't know me. I have been making my living for 16 yrs doing automotive touchup. I repair scratches, chips colorsand buff and polish cars and I also repair rubber bumpers that have been damaged. since I have hooked up with people on this site I also spot blend areas that have been repaired on Sand cars ... several people on this site have had me work on their sand cars. so.........if you need professional work on your autos trucks or sand cars PM me or ask people on this site about my work. I will take care of you!!!!!!!! Buffing ..touch up spot blending on sand cars etc. Sweet site!!!!!!!

I got one of those for Christmas and it couldnt have sucked more!!! I took it back and exchanged it thinking I just got a faulty one and the new one same problem. It would shut off after about 10 seconds. Video was really poor quality. Same company as the one you mentioned. Good luck with it . I had 2 and they both sucked!!

Pete I am sure you are right. I have heard it numerous times on different shows on Sirius radio. Hey why don't you contact XM and ask them I am sure they have had alot of these calls recently. sh*t someone in the sales dept (@ Hen Chev) might even know the answer

I think I was out there 7 or 8 times this last year my 1st trip was just before prez day. I like riding anywhere sand dirt rocks mountains mud!!! Went to Armogosa 3 times Logandale 12 or 13 times. Was able to ride somewhere @ least 40 weekends and those other weekends..... Quad in the shop :angry: I am not sure weather I like the riding better or the better??

And I am from Nevada where the N stands for nowlidge

Honestly the only thing I have dropped off in Tecopa is dump my tanks at the hot springs campground. I just noticed the dumpsters this trip.

Hey pete what day you meeting where are you meeting what time are you meeting. Do we wear formal attire I am getting my toenails cut at 9 am saturday hopefully there will be enough time to make it but they scheduled me from 9-4 for the nail job. One thing I was I saw unbelievable amounts of trash out there. Is there going to be another clean up weekend /day? before the season starts? Is Proactive the way to go? I feel guilty that I did not pick any of it I saw on sunday morning. :headbang: . I will just make sure no matter what when I go out there to at least take the time to fill one trash bag with other peoples trash and haul it home. I have noticed in tecopa where the turn off to the hot springs that there were several dumpsters, so maybe any trash collected and generated possible could be dropped off there so one wouldn't have to haul it all the way back home. I think if we all decided that every time we go there we clean it up a little we may be able to keep it clean(er). One of the first things I learned as a kid was to leave your campsite cleaner than you found it. I know we can't get everyone that goes out there to treat it with respect, but we can make a difference. Ok I am done........for now

I bought my quad a year ago and noticed all these trucks at Henderson Chevy with these big a$$ Dumont Dune Riders .com stickers on the rear window and wondered what was that all about?? I have been doing work for Henderson Chevy since the place opened, but I didn't know any of the mechanics any better than the traditional "what's up" (nod) with the "sup" (head nod) reply. Then I started asking Bert about the DDR stickers and quads and shoot some of the coolest people I have ever met work right there where I have been working for 10 yrs. I sure have learned alot of things from all those damn kids. It took me a couple of months to even check the site out, now it's like crack, gotta have it. I have met even more great people, and look forward to every chance I get to hang and dune with you all. Thanks DDR. Now when are some of you going to camp and ride at Logandale?? :headbang:
