Last time I was at Dumont I rode out to little Dumont with some other DDr's and jr ddr's I think RESPONSIBLE parents would lead their kids out there to ride instead of letting the finger dune be the babystitter!!

If you know Brice very well then you should at least learn how to spell his name .

Also you can get a simple switch from Johnny Walker that hooks on to the battery and you turn a lever and no power leaves the battery until you switch the switch, but then you might forget that you switched it off and think your batteries were dead

Ok I know I am not the smartest guy in the world but those paddles look wrong or I should say backwards?? .......But something about that whole thing just looks wrong.

So I called Cole about 9 am this morning to tell him I was bringing the whole set of tires (that I purchased from cole) down to have them mounted on my old rims. Coles tells me " I should be here" :shocked2: I told him I would see him about 10. Well of course Cole was persona non grata. They told me it would be 10 bucks a tire and maybe I could pick them up today I was like sh*t I thought they were supposed to mount them for me for free since I bought them there :dunce: I walked to the back shop and saw 4 lazy a$$es doing nothing while 1 guy worked, I thought about going and offering one of the lazy boys ten bucks so maybe he would do it faster.......but I could not get his attention away from his important phone call while lounging on the forklift. that's when I got pissed off. I went in talked to the parts chick helping me and she said they would take 10 bucks off the bill (the 40 frickin bucks to mount tires) but that was all. reason???? because I brought my old tires in , not the whole quad, that's right they would mount the new tires for me for free if they were on my quad???? but since I saved them the work of taking them off and putting them back on quad it was gonna cost me 40 but with a discount, 30 to do the job. That's when I very pleasantly (really) asked to talk to the manager. I nicely asked her What part of above policy made any sense???? She explained. I said they were full of sh*t and that once again they were sending another customer away pissed off!!!!!! I put all of crap I was buying back on the counter and some manager walks up and said no no no! That policy is not for quads just street bikes????? He said we will have tires done in an hour or so at no charge.....so ate lunch at hooters picked up tires and changed every oil or lubricant in the whole quad!!!!!!! Yea! and I put my suspension back together with grade 8 bolts. So in the end my sh*tty day at Ride Now Motor Sports turned out OK so I am slightly optimistic that the "factory" stores might suck less. Oh...... I am ready to ride. Tomorrow is only a few hours away!!

That was Bert aka sanddunesaddict that did your welding. I made it back safe and sound and except for a broken bolt everything was great! Sorry about your near miss with the rail, There were a couple of red rails in our camp, but I dont know who the were See you all next trip!!

when I was out there for one weekend holding down the ddr campsite. the wind was blowing too hard to even think about riding so I took my truck up there about 15miles with tacomama (remember her!?). so you should have no prob nick. Ive been back up there about 20 miles or so on the quad and turned back only because I didnt know how far I could get on a tank of gas!! Nice ride tho, there were several signs pointing out diff destinations but never any trails in those directions or even leading off the main trail. You can also get into the wash without going up to the main road.more or less just head north on the flats out of the duness and there is a bunch of trails that all lead into the wash

I was a wondering is any DDR's wearing costumes on Halloween? I was thinking about whipping something up but I didn't want too look too stupid!...........wait I guess I don't care if I look stoopid :angry2:

Well Pete I hate to agree with Nick on this one............. so I won't. Wonder if I should lay some paint in the flame grooves? If you DA'd and clearcoated would that be powdercoat or paint?

Nice meeting all the new people that from now on I will simply call the McFlurries. I think I might have to hang out some at the McFlurry camp.
