  1. This is my sons elk from 06 That's all the pictures I have on the computer of hunting. I've got 20 years of pictures in boxes in the closet, LOL! You'll have to wait a few months for pictures of my father-in-laws antelope and my husbands elk.
  2. Here's mine from Memorial on our way to Temple Bar. Hey, what happens when they meet in the middle and someones measurement was 'a little off'? Just kidding!
  3. Don't know if there are any hunters in here, but the draw results are up on HuntNevada.com. After almost 20 years of trying, my husband finally got a bull elk tag! He is so excited! Guess I know where he will be spending Thanksgiving, lol!
  4. Congrats Bert!!!! Those pictures of you and your girls are beautiful!
  5. WOW PETE!!!! That ^^^^^ picture is AWESOME!
  6. Haven't seen one in awhile, but when I was younger, the original "The Hills Have Eyes"
  7. That's totally COOL! Come back safe!
  8. I asked my husband and he said it's possible, he wasn't positive without measurements, but he thought the exhaust might have to be rerouted in addition to the fairings being removed.
  9. It's got 273,000 miles (I've been told that's nothing for these trucks). We bought the truck in January of 2006 and it had 260,000 on it then. We've put new tires on it ( new, not retreads) replaced the air seats inside, new air bags, locking fuel caps, and all service work has been done at Trucks West Volvo/GMC on Losee Rd. Have all receipts since we have owned the truck.
  10. 1992 Volvo White/GMC Class 8 truck. Low mileage, air ride cab, seats, and 5th wheel hitch. Cruise control, a/c, 3 stage Jake brake, Prodigy trailer brake controller, and dual 150gal fuel tanks. Eaton Fuller 9 speed tranny and 11.3 Detroit diesel engine. Custom graphics to match WW. PM me for more info.
  11. That's exactly what happened to us in November. Except we lost quite a bit more stuff. But thankfully they didn't trash the trailer. The only damage was when they took the stereo, they damaged the wood slightly where it was installed. We lost a couple lcd tvs (never keep them in there, but was a short time in between trips so this time I did), but they took weird stuff too: curling iron, blow dryer, sleeping bags, shampoo, lotion. But they didn't take food, alcohol, or jackets. Homeowners covered everything but the stereo and it wasn't worth filing a claim on the trailer insurance for the stereo so we had to eat that. Damn Thieves!!!! What side of town is your storage Warrior?
  12. If I missed where you said, sorry for not paying attention, but which one did you get, Pete? Never mind, I read ahead and answered my own question. Congrats Pete, that thing looks awesome!
  13. Whatever you get, make sure they are "E" rated!
  14. What the hell happened to this guys trailer?
  15. We have a 98 GMC Sierra and have had the same problem several times. My husband had to replace the circuit board (don't know the correct name) in the taillight assembly.
  16. Be careful and come back safe!!! You have our prayers. Make sure you tell all the heroes over there that we support them and are praying for a safe return.
  17. I'm just glad I had a windshield in my truck for this snowstorm.
  18. I got a story for you guys. A few months ago I realized that I had not received my mastercard credit card bill. I called the automated system and when it gave me my balance (should have been about $300) it said $14,000. WHAT!!!???!!! I got a real person on the phone and they said that the reason I hadn't received a bill is because someone had put in a change of address and added themselves onto my account (which of course included sending them another card on the account). It seems this person, they have his name and address, had been taking cash advances everyday of about $1500 - $1800. When they wouldn't let him take anymore advances, he would write them a check (rubber, of course) and then they would let him take more advances, can you believe that?!?!? He took a total of $33,000 in cash. What I don't understand is the card had a limit of $14,500. WHY would they let him keep taking money?WHY did they let someone who didn't have the same last name as me change my account? Anyway, I disputed and won. I also told them don't ever allow a cash advance on this account, (never had been before, I think that's one of the reasons they didn't fight me on the dispute). I know I should close this account (the company is HSBC) but I only use it when I need something other than American Express. Ok, my rant is over, thanks for listening. Oh, and sorry Tiff, hope you get your money back asap!
  19. I don't think so...but they just held the last race last month at this same track in Chula Vista. I did some checking and this track is pretty close to the Mexican border. I'm not real sure I want to do that.
  20. Man...I'm bummed. I was soooo looking forward to the races again this year. Maybe we'll go check out the Chula Vista races. Anybody been down there? Is there rv parking close to the track? Any info would be helpful. Statement From Jim Baldwin STATEMENT FROM JIM BALDWIN CHAMPIONSHIP OFF ROAD RACING CANCELS PRIMM, NEVADA RACE AND EXPANDS SERIES FINALE AT CHULA VISTA TO THREE DAYS NEWPORT BEACH, CA - October 3, 2008 - Championship Off Road Racing CEO Jim Baldwin made the following statement regarding the organization's decision to cancel its Primm, Nevada race weekend (October 25, 26). "Championship Off Road Racing has made the very difficult decision to cancel the Primm, Nevada race on October 25th and 26th. The current credit crisis has made it very difficult to cover CORR's costs." "CORR is focusing its resources on expanding the 'Series Finale' event in Chula Vista, California from two- to three-competition days. This decision enables CORR to maintain the onsite and broadcast production quality our fans expect including two live days of television coverage. It also allows us to protect the integrity of the chase for the Series point championships." "The 2008 CORR season has been one of the most exciting ever. The Series has enjoyed a 170 percent increase in track attendance over 2006 and triple digit growth in television ratings. While this decision was difficult given our momentum, it is one that is in the best interest of the sport. We are excited about expanding the Chula Vista event and releasing our 2009 Series schedule within the next two weeks."
  21. Snocross star Blair Morgan severs spine in motocross accident 2 days ago MONTREAL — Blair Morgan, a star in the daredevil sports of snocross and motocross, suffered a broken back and severed spine in a motorcycle accident at a competition over the weekend, his team manager said Monday. Morgan, 33, was taken to Montreal General Hospital after a crash during practice Saturday afternoon at the Montreal Supercross at Olympic Stadium, which was to have been his final motocross event of the season before switching to snowmobile events. Dean Thompson, manager of the Blackfoot team, said Morgan's life is not in danger but the veteran racer from Prince Albert, Sask., was paralyzed from the chest down. He is to spend 10 days to two weeks at the hospital before he is transferred to a facility in Saskatoon. Thompson said Morgan's chances of recovering enough to perform again are "probably less than one per cent." The accident occurred on a jump during practice for the Supercross, which drew a crowd of 40,000. "He basically got pitched from the motorcycle," said Thompson. "It happened from the impact." He added that Morgan "knows what happened, he has full control of his mental capacities." Morgan, who is married and has two children, also suffered a broken back in a crash in 2003, but recovered and returned to performing six months later. Morgan rides motocross bikes from May to September, then moves to snocross. He has won five times and been on the podium three other times at the Winter X-Games. He has his own line of clothing and his own video game. "He has had a very successful career in motocross and snocross," said Thompson. "He's a respected individual in the community. A lot of people are concerned."
