  1. Is it the same course they used for the CORR race last November?
  2. Phone returned to owner. It was your friend's phone, B370. How wild is that??!! DDR to the rescue again!
  3. My husband found a Verizon cell phone in the sand this weekend. Do I just go to Verizon and drop it off?
  4. Anyone heading to Laughlin next weekend for the races? We have reservations at the Riverside RV park for Friday and Saturday nite but are going to have to cancel...don't need rv space with no rv (it's at the factory being repaired) but we're thinking about driving down for the leap and maybe for one of the days to watch the race. Hope the weatherman is wrong...rain is in the forecast. Should keep the dust down though, huh?
  5. I was surprised to see you were home Pete, you gotta work tomorrow?
  6. You guys f*ckin' crack me up!!!!!
  7. Ok, we are having a hard time keeping packing in the Big Gun pipes on our YFZ's. 3 trips and the packing is GONE! What kind are you guys using?
  8. Hey let us know if and when you are gonna do it....this I gotta see in person!
  9. What I cannot believe is the lack of inventory in the parts department!!! I have gone in there for a spark plug and battery for a YFZ and they tell me it has to be ordered.....COME ON! And now I found out (a little deer told me) they are going to be closed on Sundays. Oh well, they never have what I need anyway.
  10. We were actually there that night for my husbands X-mas party, what party was he at?
  11. When did this happen? Is he just banned from posting or from the site altogether? I think I saw him getting kicked out of Green Valley Ranch one nite in the beginning of December, not positive, but I think it was him.
  12. We stayed at Sand Mountain, can be crowded on holiday weekends. But if not a holiday, it wasn't too bad at all and I love camping where you can watch people race up the hills from our camp.No hookups here, but there are bathrooms and water is available from like May thru October (I think). Here's some pics:
  13. We've been there 3 times in the last year and a half. We've gone in mid-June, July 4th and Labor day. Daytime highs in the 90's but the nights are cool. It took us about 6 1/2 to 7 hours each way from Henderson. But we were cruising about 63 mph and stopped multiple times for the dogs.
  14. Animals ( Nickelback) Dance floor anthem (Good Charlotte) Falls Apart; Rapture; ( Hurt ) Getting Away with Murder ( Papa Roach) How Far We've come (Matchbox 20) Into the Night ( Santana) Ladies and Gentleman (Saliva) Little Sister (Queens of the Stone Age) Mother ( Danzig) Psycho Circus ( Kiss) Running Up That Hill ( Placebo) Snowblind (Styx) The Queen and I ( Gym Class Heroes) Wasteland ( 10 Years) Zombie ( Cranberries) Just some of my favorites
  15. I found another article by national geographic that states that the site is about 5 miles from the dunes.
  16. The way I read it, it's an area right at Coral Pink about the size of a football field. Not the whole area. I'll be curious to find out how far away it is from the dunes.
  17. From the Salt Lake Tribune: All-terrain vehicles will no longer rip and tear where dinosaurs once trod. Fossilized footprints, laid down by six species of dinosaurs about 190 million years ago, will be preserved at a popular off-road riding area near Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park in Kane County. The site, about the size of a football field, was discovered and reported by hunters about three weeks ago. It is located on federal Bureau of Land Management property, and contains thousands of prehistoric footprints. BLM officials, in cooperation and consultation with Kane County's natural resources committee and area ATV clubs, have wisely agreed to preserve the area. A fence will be installed, along with interpretive signs and displays.
  18. Check out this website...Driversedge.org I had Kayla go out and take this course when she first started driving. It's a great idea, and it's free
  19. Watching the radar today, it looked like Dumont got pounded on with rain. Guess that will knock that dusty haze down that was happening at sunset, huh? Wonder how long it will take the dunes to dry out?
  20. I totally agree with you about people driving like idiots in the rain. You would think that they would slow down and quit tailgating when the roads are wet, but NOOOOOOOOO! When it rains, I try to keep my driving to a minimum.
