here is what i did saturday. got this old YZ 490 going last weekend and had it set up with pauly paul to go with me to the dry lake bed in boulder city to flog it a bit. i knew if i rode it i would probably kill myself. well i decided to start it again in the garage before he came over and somehow messed up kicking away at it. all of a sudden i had this huge hole in my leg and blood going everywhere. thats what i get for not putting on a riding boot. lesson learned. that kick start lever is really high. by the way if anyone wants this bike, 500 bucks and its yours. i have a good seat coming for it i bought on ebay.

an accountant i had a long time ago told me to just throw it away because unless its sent by certified mail they cant prove you got it. not much they can do about that. i have never had a problem.

the rj has 5 dollar off coupons in the sports section the last 2 days . i plan to go tomorrow.

ok. got the afternoon off tomorrow. was planning on my neighbor going but he cant so im flying solo. anyone else gonna be there tomorrow?

track closes at 6:30? what the hell. what happened to night qualifying? i planned on taking half the day off friday and going. got stuff i need to do on the weekend

geez. hollywood is keying on all the stupid sh*t us old farts watched back in the day. wonder what the sleestacks will look like. i heard they made a speed racer movie too.

overheard a waitress at the local buffalo wild wings saying she met will ferrell in pahrump. was staying there because of filming at the dunes. anybody know about up coming will ferrell movie?

nice coverage pete. we could pool our resources and field a car, truck or buggy. DDR racing. that would be cool. how crazy would that be? oh well. just got back home after being out there since 6 in the morning. its fun to dream. im going to bed. got a day of course clean up to look forward to tomorrow.

i am working a stop check for the race. with a 16 hour time limit and the last car probably going off an hour and a half after the first its going to be one long day. how about some pics of the car pj?

i gave a ticket to a friend of mine and he is bringing his little camper just for a place to hang out and use the toilet. maybe we can hook up and park in the same area. we always go early to beat the traffic and hang out

there is no overnight camping in the parking lot. we did do that a few years ago for the truck race without any hassle but i think they will enforce it nascar weekend. you can bring it in for the day.

where you camping spooner? looks like i will be bunking with joe jackson, camping with vince.

you may want to diversify a little bit one of these years. the dunes are always there but this is a sun up to sun down action weekend for 2 days once a year. i wish it was a differant weekend too. got the daytona 500 and NBA allstar weekend all this weekend.

where did you see those numbers? all i have been hearing on the talk shows here is 12 to 12 and a half. it opened at 14 but the wise guys jumped on that and knocked it down to 12 quick. i would have taken the 14. may still take the giants. was a good game last time they played in november. the under looks good to i think. was 56 but i think that came down right away to 54. not sure what it is now. gonna play some props just for fun. makes the game more interesting.gives you an opportunity to hoot and holler and or groan during the game.

this is short course desert racing. balls to the walls for 13 miles a lap. the infield is set up with alot of jumps with spectator area. come and watch. its alot of fun. if you want to be close to the action you can volunteer to help work a checkpoint for the race both days. pm me if you want to help

me and another guy from work are planning to go to the leap. not sure if i can make it on the weekend. i worked the races a couple of years ago on the course. they are fun to watch especialy when your down there in the thick of it.

was thinkin about it on the way home. when i filled the gas tank the gas can was leaking and it was going over the end of the left exhaust pipe. didnt think much of it then but maybe the gas went in the pipe and into the motor. the bike ran great all day until i filled it up that last time. that really sucked because i was looking forward to that last ride. again thanks for the ride. chris got some good video i will try to send you. the squirt sure enjoyed it. each time chris put the camera on her she had a big smile on her face. no fear. she will be a handfull when she gets her own quad someday. wont be to long from now.

ya but you have to drink 30 of them to cop a buzz. weak a$$ beer. go budweiser.

why do you have two stickers. we went to sand hollow last yer and i got one apeice for th quads. just put them on the back fender. i have heard that utah honers cali stickers. and the other way around. does anyone know for sure if tht is true?
