  1. I have been extremely busy lately myself, and since Jon wasn't working last week (he is now) I thought he could take care of it for me. Thanks for the quote I'll give you a call about the AC Delco's.
  2. Thanks for the info, but it doesn't look like they carry them for the Silverado 1500. I sent them a quote request to see if they even carry them.
  3. My son said he sent him a PM a few days ago. Maybe he never sent it.
  4. I just checked pricing on a set of rotors for my '95 chevy p/u. $420 each!!!! Even the guy at the dealer said they were pricey, but I don't feel that I have any other options....as the checker/vato zone rotors seem to warp realllllly easy. We're on our second set of the cheapies and they have gotten terrible again. Seems they don't even put enough "meat" on them to be turned. Anyone have a hookup on a set of good rotors? Ideas? Do I have to go to the dealer, and take a raping for good rotors?
  5. Dayum Jim. Take care....hope you heal quickly. Burns suck big time.
  6. I didn't make it out to this one. I had planned on it, but no one would get up at 5am and go with me. I ran into some friends from Havasu at the street party downtown and learned they were running in the race. They normally run 1640, but for this race they were running 1606. I wanted to hook up in the pits.....but finally just said eff it. Anyone know where to find the results? The mint400 site is:
  7. I keep forgetting you work right down the street from me. :boyyy:
  8. Some dude is yanking a string to get him to go. :boyyy:
  9. Stain doesn't seperate from the wood. If it was stained the stain actually soaks into the wood. Chances are it has a faux finish like a laminate that is lifting and needs to be re-glued before it gets worse. It's a little hard to tell by the picture though. Nice hauler! :boyyy:
  10. I think anyone going to Dumont is just going to have to deal with it. After all Dumont is only accessed along the 127. Thanks for the heads up though.
  11. That was the first weekend I camped with you guys. I was glad I took Monday off and stayed an extra day.
  12. King makes some very respectable sand cars. Do they ever offer Demo rides.....perhaps when it's cooler?
  13. It's going to be hard to work today. I followed a trophy truck in to work....and could hear some of the vw's warming up their engiines while I walked in from the parking lot. They are congregating right next to where I work. Nothing getting done here today.
  14. It's Casa Don Juan, and they are pretty good, but I don't do the carnitas. If you really want to brave it......Lake Mead and Civic Center. Tacos El Rey. Order the cabeza or lengua tacos and let me know that you think. There's also one on Charleston close to Boulder Hwy.
  15. Take your pick.... Mint 400 thread Need volunteers thread Yet another need volunteers thread This is also getting moved to the Shows, Expos, and Races area where the rest are.
  16. Never tried it....but when you talk about cole slaw on top of a sandwich....it reminds me of Capriotti's sandwich shop. They do a pulled turkey sandwich with coleslaw and 1000 island dressing. Good chit!
  17. That's the one I have, and it's been really good to us. I'm only running on one of the 30amp breakers....I have another 30amp circuit not even being used. I thought about having it wired so I would run a welder if needed.
  18. Last night when I got home I popped open a nice cold delicious beer. :chkn: Then I popped open another and went out to the back yard. Lit a nice tasty cigar up. ....and proceeded to kick my feet up, relax, and enjoy. We're also doing some back yard work. We have been putting in a retaining wall......
  19. I'm not sure about age....but it is from 1990.
